Oh, cry me a river already! Sure, taking care of a baby is no walk in the park, but for a real workout, have a go at dealing with a terrier puppy.

Oh yeah. All the puking and constant nausea and the weird food cravings/revulsions, it's just an act. We just think it's funny to make you guys twitch when we say "HONEY IT'S TIME TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL." They should have made those chicks take some drugs that made them ill, at a minimum. Or at least hormone swings. |

I saw parts of it and wonder if the mom who freaked out the kids for her never-ending crying baby who has to be force fed, feels maybe just a bit of being a
bad mother for giving up her kid for a show? She was really freaking out over small things but yet hands her baby over for a show like this. Whatever. Bad move
on her part too because the kids look like they will keep watching the baby - and hating her. The dad that came in and talked to the kids about it being
frustrating was the nicest and best parent so far.

yeah, i have to retract my statement about all of the young dudes not being into it. clearly some did step up.
but that black dad dude is the coolest. what a guy. at the end when they were critiquing, his approach was so wonderful (as opposed to carson's mom) about how the borrowers fucked up and what they should do about that (hell, even during the first ep when both parents had to step in to school the youngsters). yay black dad dude. you are incredible! |

Alecea is probably the worst thing about this show...what a total complete fucking cunt. She must give great head for her boyfriend to put up with that
shit...

Is she the one that still wants a baby because the one she gets isn't going to be as much of a brat as the one she got?
Two things they need to fix about this show to make it more realistic. They need to have them living in a trailer park or a two bedroom apartment and they need to be paying them less. No way would you make $100 a day working at a fast food place and no way would they afford to be able to live in the burbs right out of high school. I was surprised at how much more the boys seemed to step up than the girls. |

I was surprised at how much more the boys seemed to step up than the girls. That surprised me too. I think the girls were more frustrated that the babies weren't 'cooperating' like they thought they would. I felt bad for the girls who were confronted by the babies parents. I agree that they needed the intervention, however, they went about it the wrong way. The Father who came in to talk to the couple had the right approach. He was so calm and encouraging. I also found it interesting that when it came time to evaluate the couples, Miley's parents were not concerned how their baby was treated. Instead they took the time to help Morgan w/her relationship with her Mom. Very supportive. |

Ok, I love this show.
It's amazing how much they flip out when they're criticized. |

The way that Sasha or whatever acted was ridiculous and over the top, but something about that mother bothered me too. I can't place my finger on what it was about her that bothered me, but she bothered me from the second they introduced her. |

Sasha was way out of line, but I can see where the frustration came from. It seemed like every othe couple got a child who was two and above, they got a child
who only looked about a year to a year and a half old. That is at the age where seperation anxiety is really an issue. I also thought it was very telling when
the mother was critiquing them at the end and she said "you did some things well, but overall you diddnt do a very good job" or something along these
lines. the baby did not cry the entire time, he had some meltdowns and crying fits but it isnt like they just ignored him and his needs, I think she was one of
those mothers who is always soothing the baby instead of letting him learn to soothe himself, and because of this the baby becomes miserable as soon as mommy
leaves.

They did seem to get the short stick. That child had some major seperation anxiety. All the other couples had kids that were running around and being naughty
and theirs was crying non stop.
Why did some couples get two kids and others get one? |

annie waits wrote: She bothered me, something about the way she held her mouth and I didn't like her commenting that all Sasha and Jordan said was "hey" and her son had probably never heard that word. I have the feeling that must have really talked down to Sasha for her to react like she did, and we only saw a heavily edited version. I think Alicia's boyfriend and the girl who had the twins last night have something going on. |

a lot of things that they could have done to soothe the little one instead of letting their frustration get the best of them....which in turn...probably
caused more stress for the little one, because they can sense when people are uptight and stressed.
As far as the Mom.....She didn't bug me. I really feel that she has some sort of hearing or speaking impediment (it sounded more like a hearing,
because of the way she said her words).

Sasha's meltdown was entertaining in her reaction to the mother. BUT I actually thought the mother was out of line with her analysis.
Those two did a great job with the little monster she passed off on them. As a mother figure, Sasha was doing everything right and that baby needed a little "alone time". I can only hope that the real mother realizes that she is creating a real problem child. I kept thinking how at the beginning of the show when the mom brought him by she said 'he wasn't a problem'. my ass |

redkramer77 wrote: I got that impression too. She actually reminded me a lot of my former roommate with her baby. From the day he was born, this woman would not put the child
down, ever. I even caught her once cooking with the child strapped to her in one of those front carriers. I almost had
a heart attack. Anyway, the kid was only happy when he was hanging onto his mother. If she put him down even for a second, screaming ensued. I used to babysit
for her sometimes, and the child learned pretty quickly that I wasn't going to carry him around all day and he only screamed like the first two times I
kept him. After that, he was an angel with me. The second he heard his mother's key in the door, though, he instantly turned into a screaming brat again. I
have never seen such a thing in my life.
