Anyone else think Nima was a goner from the moment she was introduced? Oh yeah, definitely. The second we got her life story after 5 minutes into the episode I knew she was a goner. Poor RoboJillian...I swear that was her masquerading as Nimma with the monotone speaking. "I...love...cooking...it...is...my...........passion."

I hope they aren't starting to cast more on looks and less on personality. I guess we will have to see how it shakes out. Tom looks like he has actually gained weight. I was looking forward to them making pizza and hot dogs this year in tribute to Chicago. I wish they would have held the pizza challenge when there was less people and used it as an elimination challenge instead. The editing for this episode was terrible. Nima was the only person whose audition video was shown. As soon as I saw that I figured she was toast. When she said that she wasn't going to interact with the other participants and that she was only there to cook, I knew for sure she was toast. Once they got it down to the final four, it felt like the producers might have stepped in and decided this one for the judges. Based on past judging, the guy that didn't know what piccata was should have gone home. Is it just me or does that guy look like Mark Ruffalo?

He has come across quite intelligent and fair everytime he's been a guest on TC. He was fantastically humble when paired with Hung during last season's finale. Tony Bourdain failed to bring his usual snark Since having a baby and quitting cigs, he's gone soft but he is still very delicious on No Reservations. Without a doubt Nimma was cast for racial diversity. RIP token black Bravo contestant.

From the moment she was introduced, I couldn't stand her monotone voice. Then, I hated the whole "I'm here to cook, not make friends" bullshit. You can still be competitive and social person. If you can't do both, maybe you shouldn't be there. And, now it's good that she's not.

I've eaten it in New York State at a local place. If the Kiwi could manage it then the east coast people could cope. I can't believe he made vegemite taste good. That stuff's foul. I did like that so many chefs seem really good. It means the outcome of challenges should be unpredictable.

If they are cooking, it's by taste and experience. If they are baking, they should be familiar enough to know. I think that's why so many of the contestants freak out when they are expected or try to do baking. I can't count how many times I've heard something like, "I'm not a pastry chef!"
