There's a petition out there to make you the next Bachelor. Would you consider it? I signed that petition... <3 And can I be an acorn clutcher? Those things keep falling into my yard. |

I want to sign the petition, where is it?
I'd rather look at Jake than Michael. |

I'd rather watch Michael because I don't think Jake is all that looks wise and Michael is far more entertaining with a better personality.

Michael has a great personality and he seems fun to be around, but unfortunately that can't pay the bills. Captain Jake on the other hand is handsome,
seems decent and kind and has a real career. I know this sounds shallow, but based on personal experience, I will take financial stability over red hot romance
any day.

Eeh, I don't believe that Wes doesn't have a girlfriend. I'd see a misunderstanding if only one guy had been onto girlfriend gate, but with Tanner
and then Jake that's more than someone being envious

They don't want to be shopping with their mans' visa and have it expire no matter how hot the bod is or how big the dick is. Michael can generate a lot of money teaching dance and doing choreography. You aren't loaded but you can live well. Michael >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Jake and I like both. If I was a woman, I'd apply to date Michael. |

WHAT???
I'd bank on Jake to have a lasting and more financially rewarding career than a 25-year old break-dancing instructor. |

Dance teachers don't make a lot of money unless they own their studio. They work nights and Saturdays, their hourly wage wouldn't be bad, but the hours
are killer. It's more of a part time job.

meatball77 wrote:I think Michael said in one of his interviews that he did modeling and acting work in NYC to help pay the bills, so yeah, being a "breakdance instructor" isn't that lucrative. Or its just not enough to afford a lifestyle in NYC. As for Jake, working for a regional airline like ASA isn't the big bucks yet but with a good work ethic, he should be able to move up to a premiere airline soon since he's already a captain at ASA. That said, I'm not sure if I'd tune to watch Jake's season. I just lied. I know that even if its Jake as the Bachelor, I'll tune in as its not the show that I love but the snark in this thread and lurking around FORT! |

MikiBoi wrote:I think Michael is cute, but too cute. I think Jake is much hotter. But I have issues with each. Jake works for ATA, which is a sort of mid level commuter airline. So doubt he makes much, but if I could fly around for free, it might make up a bit. Biggest headache: he supposedly comes from a very conservative christian family. That is probably a deal breaker for me. Which is a shame because I like his overall package otherwise, save for about 5 inches in height. Michael, I've heard, also is a model and actor and there was a story going round that he was being cast for a part in All My Children. Wonder if it fell thru. Michael and his brother, with sets of women: the white boys "Real Chance at Love"? |

It depends what you do with dance, obviously if you are teaching 5 year olds ballet part time you are broke. But if you do a lot of choreography and have
your own studio or classes, you can make a decent penny (for the industry). But it's killer 24/7 work. I was under the assumption he did choreography
too. If he's just some back up dancer then he's probably broke like Jake.

Jake probably makes crap money flying for ASA and I doubt he'll be moving up anytime soon. Pilots just don't make big money like they used to.
My father flies for United and has for almost 20 years. All the pilots and airline employees in general took huge paycuts after 9/11. I think the pilots at United ended up with something like 40% cut in pay. They also laid off/furloughed lots of pilots across the board. The bigger domestic airlines are not hiring these days. There are some international airlines hiring, but that would mean moving somewhere else. He could get lucky and score a good job somewhere, but the chances are kind of slim. |

Still...versus a break-dancing instructor? I can't believe we're even having this conversation.
