I still think Jason should be OTT.

I still think Natalie should be OTTN...
And thanks Warrior, for updating the main chart =) And Blake too for the final ratings chart... my votes for the close calls are UTR for Yau Man, OTTP for Kathy, and CPN for Parvati. |
|||
Apollo Italiano |
|||
|
Yau-Man: UTRP (He had a very strongly positive first episode out of the two he was actually featured in. I feel that warrants an positive rating.)
Kathy: OTTP (She had a total of 4 OTT ratings. One negative, three positives. I think the Parvati: CP (I feel VERY strongly that Parvati should earn a toneless, maybe mixed, final rating. She only had two negative episodes, one of which is contrasted by a positive, and every other one of her episodes was toneless, excluding the finale which warranted a mixed tone. I don't think 2/14 is a strong indication of negativity.) **I'm going by ratings on the offical chart for each episode to base my overall rating choices. Because even if I didn't agree with them at the time they were deciced, the majority did, so that's what I feel the ratings should be based on, the majority's opinion of the character. |

Yau-Man: UTRP (like Apollo Italiano said, very strong positive on the first episode...)
Kathy: OTTM (I could see OTTP, but she did have both positives and negatives. Hard...) Parvati: CP (A ton of episodes without tone... I think it should be neutral.) |

All close-calls are correct. No "_____ should be ____" 'cause it's over :)
Yau-Man: UTR Kathy: OTTP Parvati: CP |

So someone who quit the game gets OTTP ? Ah ...... no.

Oowatanite wrote: If that's the edit they got, yes. The other quitters did not get P's in nearly half the episodes they were in (Sue, Janu, Osten). I think
Kathy's P partially comes from the order she received her toned episodes in. The N was the first episode, then 1 P, then ending with 2 P's. Had she
ended with an N episode, I could see more people voting M overall for her.

Kathy got a OTTM edit overall. She got lots of N and lots of P, which results in M.
N + P = M I learned that in Algebra class. |

Finally checking in after a couple weeks in the tropics and then getting eaten alive in the northern rockies by mosquitos the size of cows. Or so it seemed.
Ever see a Deer Fly? They're beautiful, really. Sort of a golden tan color, iridescent wings. I didn't know what one was when it landed on my arm. I
was admiring it when it began to feed. Ouch.
Wallduck, you have my okey-dokey to reprint what I thought about SPVs. Since I can't remember what I wrote I'll be interested to see if I still agree. Eliza, your final questions were utterly brilliant. I do wish they'd have been shown! Everyone says how it's really a social game. Apparently, some people's ideas of "social" begin and end with their own little alliances (they didn't know the names of Cirie's kids? Those cute kids on her t-shirt? Man oh man.) A more serious question to Eliza - Many people thought you were, um, annoying in your S9 appearance but thought you were plucky and admirable in S16... okay, that "many people" is actually me. But I ask you - did the editing in both editions seem fair to you? Did you change, or did I change? |

In regard to Eliza's jury question - she's gonna be a great trial lawyer.
Clever tactic, if you're pissed at the F2, ask questions that make them look bad as you would with an unfriendly witness. Far more subtle than going all Sue Hawk. I have a poor memory for people's names, especially if I don't see them written down. So I can empathize with the F2. You can care about someone a great deal without rememberig the names of a bunch of relatives you haven't met. Perhaps the editors omitted Eliza's question because they agree with me on the above. Parv and Amanda were emotionally close with Cirie, they didn't regard her Brian Heidik-style as a pawn. So they left out something they saw as misleading. I've seen a pic of Parv and Amanda watching the TC where Cirie is booted. They are hugging each other and are close to t.ears. Cirie must be very lovable. I think it was VERY telling and I think that both Alexis and Cirie were pretty devastated by the answers given. The family members question was more telling in the sense of embarrssing the F2, than in deciding between them. Sounds like Eliza was happy to send the message to Cirie and Alexis, two of her best jury friends: "I know and care about you more than Parvmanda do. Why did you allign with them over me?" That political question would be good TV. It differentiated. Parv beat Amanda 2.5 to 0 and showed her sense of humor.

Warrior, there is previous Final Rating discussion on p.264 and p.268.
The majority voted: Parvati - CP Amanda - MOR Cirie - CP Natalie - UTRN Erik - OTTP Alexis - UTR James - MOR Jason - MOR Ozzy - MORN Eliza - CP Ami - MOR Tracy - CPP Kathy - OTTM Chet - OTTN Jonathan - CP Joel - CPN Mikey - MORN Yao-Man - UTRP Mary - UTR Jon - CPM The only "close calls" were the tone ratings of Parvati, Kathy, and Yau-Man. Tonedog OTH voted with the CP Neu majority for Parv, the OTTM majority for Kathy, but the UTR Neu minority for YM. As Parv watchdog, I stick with my CP Neu vote. |

Technically, Parvati's majority was CPN, not CP neu, due to the fact that she only had 6 CP neutral votes as opposed to 9 CPN votes. CPM votes
shouldn't really count towards the neutral average due to the fact that they're as far from neutral as possible.

Looks good, except you need to colour MikeyB MORN purple.
YM as UTR is best - two WDs voted that way, plus I'd change my vote to that now. |

Ok Mikey's error has been mentioned.
Also, I thought Yau-Man and Kathy were P overall (majority, not just my personal opinion) |

It just bothers me that 13 people see Parvati as having a tone, yet she's given a straight neutral, like we weren't supposed to feel one way or the
other towards her. 6 people gave her a straight neutral out of 19, which means that 13/19 thought she was at least slightly negative, yet somehow neutral
makes sense?
