Marlee Matlin is actually one of the bigger celebrities this show would have seen. She's an Oscar and Emmy winner, and a good actress with or without her
deafness. Being deaf has no bearing on dancing.

Now, here's a surprise: Adam Carolla just announced on his show that he's on this season...that ABC gave him
permission to announce it early because they will all be on Oprah tomorrow. He doesn't know who his partner is just yet...apparently, she's waiting in
another room...and the show is there filming it.

Well well well...looks like Ms. Hough won't be getting a three-peat. Adam Carolla will go the way of Kenny Mayne (though I don't think he'll be
first to go). I've always liked him, since I enjoyed the Man Show at its peak, but Carolla will certainly ham it up and I'd be surprised if he is
seriously good enough to make it too far. He is also not the kind of celeb that the older fan base will enjoy.

Now this puts me in a hard spot, because I ADORE Adam Carolla --- he is brilliant on the radio, and the only morning radio show I can listen to aside from
Stern -- but I dislike Julianne as much as I love Adam. Really, I don't think I can physically bring myself to vote for her. Why curse me so?!?! Is t too
late to match him with Edyta? I can't believe Adam is even participating in this... it seems so anti-him. I suppose they couldn't have his boyfriend
Kimmel on as a contestant so they went to the next closest thing. I can't even imagine the ribbing he'll get from his colleagues.

I totally agree, kitty... I couldn't believe it when I was listening this morning. I thought it was a practical joke, honestly, until Julianne actually
started talking.
I think he's doing it because he's really trying to promote his movie...and what better way to do that than being on this show? |

Perez Hilton is reporting that Steve Guttenberg is in the cast, and Kym Johnson was spotted in the audience for Penn and Teller's show, so Penn might be
the magician.
We'll found out tonight I guess. Hopefully there's a big surprise like Donny Osmond
