Remove this ad Anyone watching? They had live auditions for the top spots and the show actually starts tomorrow (2-7) on MTV at 10 PM EST. It's Randy Jackson's brain-child, hosted by Mario Lopez and judged by JC Chasez (N'Sync), rapper Lil' Mama and choreographer Shane Sparks. http://www.mtv.com/ontv/dyn/dance_crew/series.jhtml Contestants: http://www.mtv.com/ontv/dyn/dance_crew/crews.jhtml Lots of really good dancers in there, but my 2 favorites are Jabberwockeez & Kaba Modern. Noticed that the big guy (and one of his little buddies) in the Boston crew were from So You Think You Can Dance. Shane Sparks also judging here is from SYTYCD. Loved quite a few of the groups, interestingly though that the 2 I liked best were Jabbawockeez and Kaba Modern, who's members were mostly asian. They were tight, both groups. Agree that the Breaksk8 should have moved forward before the femme5 cheerleading squad. Ugh. I really liked the hip-hop broadway crew as well, but gimmick could wear thin. This could be interesting, seems like they are looking for diverse groups to populate the show. I was expecting more male to female dancers on this show, but glad to see the ladies were up to level with most of the men (exception being Femme5).

They're obviously keeping that one group of white girls for eye candy. Their actual routines suck and they don't even execute them to near perfection. They were the worst besides the group that got eliminated (who was also wack).

And they moved to LA because of the show. There are going to be 5 disappointed midwest girls when they realize they aren't good enough to sustain a dance career there. I really like this show, as far as the dance shows I have seen it is second only to So You Think You Can Dance. Really like Kaba Modern, Jabbawockeez, Iconic and appreciate Live In Color's energy and style. Not sure what the vote is about if the judges do the eliminations and put the others through, will have to check out the website.

Posts: 1496 (02/29/08 12:17 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I'm hooked on this show too...but last night's results was an outrage...Live In Color had the BEST dance of the night and best theme, and the other girl crew was mediocre at best...watch it at the MTV site and you'll see, I just don't get it...I have a feeling the producers and judges wanted to Tamyra the group to spark a little controversy and bring attention to this show...but it just sucks that the Best dancers of the night were the casualty...Fysh and Chicks have the VFTW component going on for them...

Wondering why more people aren't catching this show. It is playing on much music up here in Canada on Sundays. I just read that Live in Color got axed... over Fish and Chicks? I could see Status Quo going before either of those two, damn. Something smells 'fishy' there for sure, no way that the girl group was as talented or original as Live in Color. If Kaba or Jabbawockeez don't win then I will be pissed, Breaksk8 is novelty, but not that great in my mind. Great show none the less...
