Sally's edit was a let-down because the editors tempted us with the whole "I'm divorced (lesbian?, abusive husband?) and my parents won't talk
to me because their super religious and think divorcing is a sin", but it wasn't expanded beyond that.

Panama was hardly a standout but I really don't think it's forgettable. Hell, we remember Casaya & the exile island twist, especially Terry.

If your a fan of the show then no season is forgettable but if I had to pick one it would be Panama/Exile Island. It was very typical and had little to
distinguish it. The location was reused for a third time and the HII/EI twists that were supposed to shake things up (to justify going back to Panama) had
little effect and the season featured a standard pagonging (other than Terry's Immunity win streak). It wasn't a bad season but it had little that
casual viewers (not hardcore fans) would find especially memorable other than Bruce's med-evac. Seasons like Fiji and Thailand which are considered bad by
many are too disliked rate as most forgettable.

Sally wasn't boring. She had a great underdog story. <3

What about Melinda? Ruth Marie? Bobby? Dan? Nick? Nick and Ruth Marie were the Nick and Amber of EI, I'll give you that. The other people mentionned did receive a decent editing. Well at the very least, much better edits that the Vanuatu/Palau/Guatemala first boots. Anyways, the answer to this thread is without a doubt Palau. I've said it many times, but that season is a complete blur to me. All I remember is that the first half was the Steph show and the second half was the Tom and Ian show. Stretch it a bit to include Bobby Jon and they were pretty much the only 4 characters in a cast of 20. Everyone else was cannon fodder. Of course, here at Sucks, some people desperatly try to convince us that Jenn and Coby were great characters. Those people probably believe in the Easter bunny as well. At least Thailand, CI and Fiji are KNOWN for their sucktitude, which ironically makes them memorable. But everyone just seems neutral on Palau and neutral = boring. I'm actually surprised when people here bring up Palau moments such as Jeff hurting his ankle, Coby not picking Angie etc. Because I honestly forgot all those moments. ETA: I agree that going to Panama a third time is definitely a reason why people find EI forgettable. If it happened somewhere new and preferably lanlocked, I'm sure people would rank it up there with China.

And I find it funny when people say that EI was predictable, yet praise the hell out of China. Wasn't China even more predictable?
In Panama, we only knew towards the end that it was Aras and Cirie calling the shots. Up until that point, we didn't know if the final 2 was going to be Aras/Shane, Danielle/Courtney, Cirie/Danielle etc. Plus add Terry's immunity streak which made a good wild card. In China, they made it obvious from the very beginning that Todd and Amanda were final 2. Once Jean-Robert got kicked out, it was confirmed. The only thing that was somewhat surprising is that a lot of us thought Amanda would win. I think the reason China love is overblown here is that Todd and Courtney pretty much embody your typical Sucks poster. It's like they were watching themselves dominate a season of Survivor. |

The reason China is loved is that everyone was honestly trying to win or a great character. Of the F10, only Frosti was a dud.

The reasons that I like China better than Panama/Exile Island do not have anything to do with the relative predictability of either season. Firstly, I loved
how they incorporated the Chinese culture and heritage in the challenges and I enjoyed the reward trips and the opening ceremony in the temple. Secondly,
China had a more diverse cast than Panama/Exile Island. Sure, the Casaya tribe had some good characters but the La Mina tribe was what TV producers considered
to be a cross-section of America in the late 1950's when Leave It To Beaver debuted. Even Aaron and Amanda had more edge than everyone on La Mina other
than Terry. The only totally boring contestant in the China cast was Erik the admitted virgin. Frosti demonstrated a great deal of composure and maturity for
someone who was the youngest Survivor contestant at that time.

The more I think about it, the more it's "Panama - Exile Island".
Not the worst, but the most mediocre and forgetable. No real controversies. 3rd time recycled location. For example, Terry fades beside fellow immunity whores Tom W and Ozzy, who came just before and after his season. Shane is either the fake Hollywood version of Judd, or a pale precursor of Evil Dick. La Mina is the most bring tribe ever. Yes, with the 16 player format and their TC trips, we got to see them plenty. All I rememebr is Austin and Nick getting a stomach ache from ill-cooked beans, and Dan being edited as a hero just because he was an astronaut. And Sally's storyline was such a disappoiuntment. |

If it weren't for Cirie we would totally forget EI... (AND I think it's way overrated on Sucks... other places don't hold it in such a high regard as here.... in Sucks' defense though, Vanuatu is more popular here than anywhere else... Sucks is really the only place smart enough to "get" Vanuatu.) |

Vanuatu was great. Casual fans just hate women and Chris wasn't really the top choice out of the Vanuatu men to support. Most would prefer Chad/Rory/Sarge
over Chris in terms of casual viewers.
EI was horribly boring. We had our first official bore tribe La Mina and the more entertaining characters (Misty, Sally, Dan) were either kicked off early or hidden. It didn't help Terry was soaking up all of La Mina's airtime to build him up as a huge hero like they did with Tom and Ozzy. And lol @ anyone calling Amazon part of the top 5 most forgettable over EI/Fiji/Cooks. Seriously, it was really the first step into a 'new style' Survivor in terms of strategy with Rob C (arguably Vee started it but nobody could 'see' it till they saw Rob's game I suppose). Men VS Women, Age Wars (part 2), first deaf contestant and the stripping for peanut butter and chocolate scene. And the most wtf winner ever (cause of editing purposely wanting a surprise winner). China would be forgettable if it didn't have an arguably great cast. The challenges and strategy in there mainly sucked because everyone let Todd do whatever he wanted, with the exception of PG but she lacked the power to do much. China had a great bunch of characters pre-merge, Chicken's DAYUM, Ashley's fight with Dave, Leslie, Crazy Dave and Sherea (Aaron was the only dud of the bunch). The post merge was horrible to watch though, the only ones you really had left to depend on for entertainment were PG and Courtney, who both made it far thankfully. Oh, and Jean Robert too but he's more of a love to hate character I guess. |

I don't really get all the Panama hate. I loved Sally <3. Like someone said earlier, they weren't really fascanating, but they're way more
watchable than people like Sundra, Rebecca, Rita, etc.
I really liked Panama, but it was my first season, so I'm kind of biased. The most forgettable season is Fiji, by far. |

I don't think Exile Island is unforgettable at all. I actually really like the season and a lot of the characters are memorable to me. It was also the
first to have exile island (well I guess Palau was but not really), and although I don't like exile island it was pretty memorable. All the seasons are
memorable to me, but if I were to guess which ones wouldn't be memorable to the general audience I would guess Africa and Thailand, Just becuase they were
on the boring side and aired so long ago.

All the seasons are memorable to me, too, because I don't forget anything, but Fiji had the most forgettable cast, and nothing really stands out about the season other than 2 or 3 moments. It's not even that their cast was unlikeable, they were just ridiculously dull. |

I think Yau-Man is very unforgettable so he single handedly makes Fiji memorable. The paired with the "most controversial decision ever made" make
Fiji pretty memorable in my book. Casual viewers still talk about how disgusting it was what Dreamz did to Yau-Man. That was a big moment for most viewers.

Yau-Man was really interesting at first, but he got old really fast. The Dreamz/Yau car deal was too overhyped, especially because Yau-Man told Dreamz not to
feel guilty about it, and Dreamz gave it to charity. It's not like it hurt anyone.
