She's boring and was a huge disappointment in China, but that may be the point. Can she up her game and be more assertive and not so apologetic? Well, judging my her immediate hook up with Ozzy, it would seem that she digressed rather than improved. You can use that argument for pretty much anybody. Hell, why not bring back Cassandra? And Parvati is way more interesting than any of the other women you mentioned.

You have a few people who love her, and a few people who hate, her just like with everyone else. But she's not polarizing by any means, and she's not a love-or-hate contestant. Someone like James, maybe. That guy either makes you fall in love with him or he makes you despise everything he does. But someone like Parvati is very easy to feel neutral about. The one thing she certainly was not cast for was to start controversy.

They're far more likely to remember the second most interesting woman in Fiji (horrible editting for women that season) than the most ignored woman in Palau. And if anything, Jenn is disgustingly OVERRATED. People love her because she's best friends with Coby, but on Palau, she really was the first coming of Becky.

Anyone who thinks Michelle DESERVES to be on all stars has no right to bitch about the first ASS or this ASS's casting. A couple cute giggles here and there don't make you an all star. She was one of the most ignored and thus boring contestants. She was a Jenn/Becky etc. She didn't even make it far. And this twist business... okay then let's bring back Aaron Reisberger. Amanda...no idea. I heard Courtney and PG were asked but they refused so that might be the reason shes there. PG said she'd do survivor again in a heartbeat. Which makes it more bewildering as to why they chose Amanda over Peih-Gee. ETA - you do have a point about the Jonathan thing though. He is a must.

These people weren't chosen by how well they played the game, but how liked they were. If this was based on gameplay, then Ami and Jonathan shouldn't be on either, seeing as they sucked gameplay wise as well. People say that Parvati & Amanda were bad picks, but when you think about it, James & Jonathan aren't any better. Jonathan was playing for 5th, on both sides, and ended up with 7th. James got voted out with 2 HII's in his pocket. If there is any outrage over Half-ASS contestants, it should be against those two. But honestly, it's pointless to even bitch about this. They're all there now, they all were picked for a reason, and the season has already begun. So if there's anyone out there that doesn't agree with the picks of the cast, get over it because it's not gonna change to include Ian or Michelle.

I disagree with this. The Palau cast was horrible, and the only two that were considered "favorites" were already invited back: Stephenie and Bobby Jon. Ian was quite forgettable.

It wasn't about selecting the 10 best players, it was about selecting the 10 best characters. Nobody's saying James has a stronger game than Amanda. But James was a great character. Amanda was not.

Two of the most visible and memorable contestants of the post-ASS seasons are not better picks than two average, forgettable contestants who could have (and should have) easily been replaced by more memorable and deserving females. I hate James and don't think he should be there based on his horrible gameplay and annoying (to me) personality, but if you're trying to say that he shouldn't be there over worthless bitches like Parvati and Amanda, then that's just stupid. Love them or hate them, Jonathan and James absolutely deserve to be there more than Amanda and freaking Parvati. And enough with this "stop bitching" bullshit. It's a message board to discuss Survivor. People are allowed to complain and talk about what they want. If you don't want to talk about it, then you can get over the fact that other people do (and can).

Michelle got 8 confessionals in 9 episodes, and was screwed by a twist so we had to feel like she wasn't that big a deal (like Shii Ann being unlikable, Silas eing unlikable, Aaron being boring). Jenn made the final 4 and got 13 confessionals in 14 episodes. She was boring on the show for seemingly no reason, given that her final episode had a decent amount of suspense. Sucks has an unreasonably huge hard-on for her, and yet they hate Becky for being boring, and I'll never understand why. Here's another fact, since you bring up confessionals, CSC, Michelle had 4 in the first three episodes. Jenn had 0.
