or is every car on this show a Ford? ...even the semitruck was a Ford ....plus I HATE the new voice style of KIT.... |

I like the KITT voice. It's the type of voice that would tell you EXACTLY how it likes to fuck... if it were a real person and not a car.

I think this show will work better than Bionic Woman since it isn't a "remake" or reinterpretation. It also has a comedic element to keep it
fresh. I about pissed myself when KITT asked Mike Tracer if he were homosexual because KITT was trying to analyze and understand Mike's commitment issues.

Yeah Bionic Woman had to create new characters and story lines. I am hoping they bring back or mention Devon, or Bonnie. Like why did FLAG fall apart. Did
Michael Knights evil look-a-like have any offspring etc... And what exactly happened to The Two Thousand model? Is it's processor in storage or
something? There are a good amount of back stories to play with for fans.

I thought it started off white hot, then slowly ran out of gas. I thought the end of the sequence just before the Hof cameo at the funeral was actually the
end of the show and turned it back on once I realized I hadn't seen him -- there it was.
I wasn't all that fond of the series in the 80's and am afraid I'm still not. Props to the production values though: the SUV crash was awesome. |

I know the original Knight Rider was not exactly a thrill ride but nostalgia does make it seem better than it might have been so I guess this sequel does
measure up in a way. For a long movie length pilot, it was way too talky for one thing. They have to fill in the backstory but that much backstory? It felt
very clunky with the endless conversations.
It was nice to see the Michael Knight/Hasselhoff cameo but other than that there wasn't much to get hooked on. But nice touch at the end with the Michael Knight style leather jacket and I guess they'll be flying all over the world instead of just wandering along highways on the back of a trailer. Minor quibble: Apparently nanotech can be used to defy the laws of physics. Even if KITT is invulnerable (which is activated only when the computer is on no less), unless it somehow anchored itself to the ground, it should have been sent flying by the impact at the end. For every action and all that... |

It did well in the ratings last night, with about 13 million viewers and finishing #1 in its timeslot in the second hour.
Looks like there's a good chance this will be made into a series this Fall. |

I thought actually quite in the spirit of the original and I like the new changes in Kitt. Its also amazing that when, for instance, Kitt talks about
Prometheus causing countless levels of destruction, he is able to pull up random stock footage from various disasters. The soundtrack has to go. Those awful
rock guitar chords..
