Thursdays at 9PM are equally as bad, as that puts them up against Grey's. Reruns or not, ABC still manages to win that hour somehow. CSI does better
against it.

It's a shame that in a matter of 2 episodes they are already considering burying the season. It's not unexpected in the least though. Cut it short, do whatever, as long as it comes back in the summer then I am happy. |

Seriously, it's not the shows fault. It's SeeBS's fault for giving it sucky timeslots like against AI.

You can't blame CBS. There's really no timeslot to put the show where it WON'T be competing against another networks big name TV show. You can
forget Friday or Saturday, no one would watch that.
Sunday, Tuesday, & Wednesday are it's best nights at this point. |

Monday and Wednesday would have been smarter, at least for right now. They wouldn't be against the AI performance show and wouldn't have to worry about
DWTS for a while.

Zap2It has a list of the estimated dates all the shows are expected to return with new episodes. Here's the CBS ones:
RETURNING: Two And A Half Men (March 17th) How I Met Your Mother (March 17th) The Big Bang Theory (March 17th) CSI: Miami (March 24th) Cold Case (March 30th) Criminal Minds (April 2nd) CSI: NY (April 2nd) Without A Trace (April 3rd) CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (April 3rd) Ghost Whisperer (April 4th) Numb3rs (April 4th) NCIS (April 8th) Moonlight (April 11th) Rules Of Engagement (April 14th) PROBABLY NOT COMING BACK AT ALL: Cane STILL NO WORD: The New Adventures Of Old Christine Welcome To The Captain The Unit Shark Jericho Swingtown I really don't think we need to worry about having a short season. I wouldn't be surprised if the show gets shuffled around to different time slots, if the 3 episode a week schedule is scaled back, or even if the show gets shortened by a week or two. But I seriously doubt that they're going to leave us with some bullshit 6 week season. Hopefully they realize how pissed a lot of their feed subscribers would be. Real may have gotten around the issue by not calling it a "Season Pass" so they wouldn't have to refund any money if the season's cut short, but surely if enough people are pissed and feel screwed this time around, that will hurt the feed sales for the next summer edition. Also, this is from an article in the Orange County Register: The network said this week that it would have new episodes of many shows ready to go by early April, but none would require "Big Brother" to vacate the schedule. I know that's not official 100% confirmation, but still it's something. |

Amazing Race is done for the season. They need something to fill that Sunday timeslot.
With Cane gone as well, Big Brother is really just patching holes in the schedule. The season'll end in mid-late April, which is fine. Might be a bit shorter, but we'll have the summer season coming up. |

First I wouldn't count an op-ed writer's opinion the same as CBS"S. Not all of their shows are coming back in April so I do think we will end up
with a full season. I assume we will also get a summer edition. I don't think CBS had high ratings exceptations for it other then they had nothing else to
fill up the season. I think this just means it will stick to being a summer show after this, and not a fall/winder edition. Big Brother 8's ratings
didn't start out the best either. I think that Sunday night will be better, because not everyone realized that the show wasn't on Thursday.

Not may 2nd!!!!! That's too late, and Iron Man is comming out that day, I'll have to watch the live finale, not live.
I just read that, and laughed at myself, and called myself a nerd. |

according to this website they are claiming May 2nd for the end of Big Brother. I know have seen it other places mentioned then this, but here is one I could
find on a quick search. I don't know how reliable this is but this is the date they are claiming here.

What an ironic coincidence that the ratings have plummeted this season now that Zach is not on the cast anymore. |

Even though I'm excited about Big Brother this year, there is too much competition on TV nowadays...
At least we're better than Cashmere Mafia? Seriously...WHY THE HELL AREN'T THEY USING SURVIVOR AS A LEAD IN? We'd actually have decent Thursday ratings then. |

CSI does really well in repeats that is why. I think with everything that has gone on the last few days the ratings will be up, and I do think the new schedule
confused some people. Like I have said I think we will get a full season, but after this it will probably stay just a summer show.

Ratings are in and dropped during the third episode. NOT a good sign at all. This proves that this show is only suited for summer.
Ratings drop the third time around 4.1/6 |

The fact the ratings went down on the one night it wasn't up against Idol is the worst sign of all. It's a shame too considering how much drama there
has been this season and most people don't even know it. Though considering how badly put together last night's episode was, I guess i c an't
really blame the casual fan for tuning out.
