First post. I have a cousin about Jenn's age dying of terminal cancer. Things can really suck at times.
Her family must be suffering also. I really hopes she pulls through. |

Coby - please tell Jenn that she is in the prayers of me and many, many people.
I'm a breast cancer survivor, and my oncologist told me that breast cancer that's metastasized to the bones and/or lungs is treatable but not curable. BUT, as Zesty66 indicated, you can be treated pretty successfully for many years, if you're lucky, and live with it as a chronic condition, somewhat similar to diabetes or HIV. My best thoughts and hopes for Jenn that she is one of the lucky ones for many, many years. |

someone posted about this on another board and I just had to come and send my well wishes and prayers her way. Jenn is one of my most favorite survivors ever.

I am a RN who works with cancer patients during their chemo and recovery. Bone cancer, even when metastisized from the breast and lymph nodes, is not a death
sentence. Women in particular have a higher survival rate.Working with bone cancer patients on a daily basis, I see the survival rate rising. I went to
junior high and high school with Jenn and I have seen her strength and endurance. She has a wonderful family to support her and many people praying for her. I
believe this is just another bump in the road and wish her the very best during this sensitive time.
