Ballads are boring? Ballads are boring if they're not sung well. Obviously, she can't sing them which is why she steers clear of them.
My problem isn't that she's a one-trick pony, it's that she's not even good with her one-trick. I can barely understand what she's singing, and everything sounds the same. Yet the zero trio lap her shit up where they criticize others for not leaving their boxes. Blech. |

Amanda is the real deal as a genuine hard rocker (unlike Ryan, Nikki and Gina). But as other people have said, EVERY major hard rock, blues based band or
singer from Led Zeppelin to the White Stripes and in between (including her Idol Janis Joplin) knew they had to slow things down and do a slow or medium tempo
blues once in a while. Music isn't all thrash or boring fucking ballads. She could start something slow and then speed it up like Chakezie does. In short,
she doesn't know s**t about music and will probably get booted this week as a result.

I have the sneaking suspiscion though that the rest of the Idols would not have wanted to see her in the tour anyway. She doesn't seem very friendly and amiable. |
