Exactly. She doesn't exude any warmth or personality. Technically, she's very solid. But she doesn't have the "IT" factor that you

I really don't ever expect a show stopping performance from her. This is going to be Kat deal. Always waiting for that one moment, never delivering. She's going through the motions and is a willing pawn. She knows the deal and will play along. It almost felt like she was reading from a que card, explaining her past failure as a recording artist. There's a hint of desperation to become a puppet for this show. |

I throw in some hate for the Irish bitch's outfit. I make no secret of the fact that I love the Irish bitch but her fashion sense is heinous and I've
wanted to burn everything I've seen her wear, except the outfit from the Top 24 photo shoot that I know a stylist picked out specifically for that.

I would agree she was a little shouty towards the end of her song and yelled a bit in the middle but she managed to make it sound good which I think comes with
the nice tone and talent.
Syesha's yelling is annoying and not pleasant and it's definitely all she does. She doesn't even have any nice low notes to enjoy, she's just all yell, yell yell. |

Why would he need to drum up votes for her on the first night? She had the pimp spot and she wasn't going home regardless. If he was going to do that, he
would save it for later in the competition when she might actually need it.
And if she does need to have votes intentionally drummed up for her on the very first night, then obviously she isn't going to be successful anyway. I think the McPhee comparison is accurate. |

McPhee was stunningly beautiful on AI5 (the hair/make-up people did a good job) Carly = a bit frumpy / chubby |
