It got off to a slow start but the JJ episode might just have been the most perfect hour of TV I've seen all year while the Pandora episode might have been the most fun.

This season does not have the magic that S1 and S2 did, and it has to do with the scripts for the new cast rather than the quality of the actors. Was it just me or was there more sex and drugs in every episode at every opportunity? The storylines for these characters (especially Cook) are really a stretch in terms of "being real" and relatable. I don't know of any 17 year old like Cook. Doesn't mean they don't exist but the character was too OTT for the show. The whole cast ended up fucking each other at some point, so it kinda became a 9-some. It was just strange. It didn't have the same vibe or great storytelling that S1 and S2 had. S3 picked up around mid season but the storylines were too dramatic for 17 year olds and mixed with the overexposure of sex and drugs just showed that they didn't know what to do with these characters but that. I'm not suprised if it gets cancelled. I'd like to see S4 cause I think it's starting to pick up in terms of settling the cast but I hope to God the script gets better.

Posts: 306 (04/03/09 8:44 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I gave series 3 a chance, but it was a big letdown. A few episodes I liked (the Cook, JJ, and Pandora episodes,) but in general it was nowhere near as good as the first two. Where's Sid and Tony?

Nice sense of closure with a nice tease of Effy becoming the central focus. Tony & Sid's goodbye at the airport got me a little teared up. Jal at the funeral was also a nice moment (and after at the grave with Chris' dad). The coffin stealing I'm glad Maxxie went off with James I just wish he didn't drag that tool Anwar with him. That guy is a shit human being and a shit friend. I wish he had stayed with Sketch. They deserved each other. Tony & Michelle's goodbye was also sweet. Jal's abortion kinda shocked me. It makes sense but I was expecting her to keep it after Chris died. I'm glad Si & Cassie4 didn't hapepn to find each other. I think they will eventually but I'm glad they left it up in the air rahter than wrap it up easily.

I hated Cook, and disliked everyone else except for the lesbian twin and Freddie. Compared to Series 1 and 2, where the characters were all incredibly engaging, it just fell flat for me and it took me a good month or two to get through the second half of the season. I'm seriously tempted to just completely skip Series 4.

I love all eight of the main characters and all of their storylines. I'm a big Maxxie and Chris fan and would have loved to see more of both of them. I wish they had done at least one more season with the original cast before moving on, but what can you do. I've seen previews for the 3rd season but have avoided it due to missing to originals and not wanting to invest in a new group.

Like, totally unrealistic, but amazing none the less. Like JJ the mentally somethinged kid talks to Emily, who tells him shes gay, who then shows him her boobs. then they go to confront his Freddie about the whole Effy thing, but find him fucking Katie, and JJ accidently tells them emily's gay, which katie freaks out about(idk why). then JJ goes to effys house, and walks in on her masturbating and JJ tells effy he loves her. then he goes to confront Cooke, who is finishing up fucking that panda chick. then JJ and Cooke try to get drugs, but almost get caught, so JJ gives Cooke some of his meds (which make people tell the truth. WTF?) then effy meets up with that naomi lesbian chick, at some club, that freddie and katie happen to be waiting in line, where the panda chick and emily are inside. the jj and cooke show up. then cooke is like grabbing emilys boobs. then gets in a fight. freddie and jj pull him away, and cooke tells he doesnt really like effy, he just likes fucking her. that effy really likes freddie. then JJ goes to talk to emily, and he takes her home cause emily doesnt want to go to hers(is katie her sister?). then in the morning emily, the LESBIAN, mercy fucked jj. then they go down stairs together, ands jjs moms face as she realized they had sex was PRICELESS. but all this happened in 24 hours. WHAT THE HELL???????? I think i may be addicted, i saw it on BBC america, so it was a little edited. i would love to see the real version and all. it was amazing. like degrassi on steroids and all hardcore
