Remove this ad I can remember being excited watching the girls from season 6 on their first public performance. 1. Stephanie down to her knees, singing "pleaseeeee..." 2. Leslie being quirky singing Natural Woman 3. Sabrina out of nowhere "you're a LIAR! you're a CHEAT", sassy performance 4. Antonella sucking, figuratively and literally 5. Jorbacca singing Tracy Chapman with a lotta fun 6. MELINDA! nuff said 7. Lakisha REALLY closed the show this season, only Syesha and Amanda excited me on their first public performance most talented top 24 my ass

Even if the other 11 last year were phenomenal (which they were not), just having Gina there made them lower than dogshit collectively.

I liked Camille and Jasmine, they are Fil-Am and they supported Filipinos all over the world and here in The Philippines.

She also said in her Top 24 interview video that just because she has tattoos doesn't mean she's a hard rocker, and said all the cheesy ballad belters she loves. Unlike Gina who pretends that even though she sings Celine Dion she's still a hardcore rock chick. Gina sucks and does singlehandedly bring down the talent level of last season's group of girls. Besides last season they had way more random white girl fodders, there was like 4 of them. At least there was only 1 fodder girl and the farmbots can sing. But partly that was because WE'D NEVER HEARD FROM FIVE OF THEM. This year we had heard all 12 before. That makes for a much fairer, if initially less interesting, contest. Also, Lakisha, Stephanie & Sabrina never did top their first performances. Sabrina fans should still be pissed at how her lack of airtime cost her a place in the top 12. And what's with all the Gina hatred? Last year most people agreed she was the only white girl who deserved to be in the top 12, even if only by default. Do people now seriously think somebody like Nicole or Alaina was robbed? The white girls this year are much better than last year's bunch, and the group has a lot more variety than last year's Divas & Ditzes.

If they didnt have themes, last season's girls would be blown out of the water and even with themes I was much more impressed than last year.

I don't care what most people "agreed". I thought she was horrible and loathsome from the first time we saw her. I'd have rather seen any of the other girls (particularly Leslie, the quirky redhead) plus probably all of the girls who were cut in Hollywood and at the auditions make it rather than Gina. Heck, I would have been happy if they had let A.J. Tabaldo compete on the girls side where he belonged and have had HIM make it instead of Gina...
