Im surprised this hasnt been theorized yet, or maybe it has and I missed it, but has anyone else thought that Bens contact/spy back on the freighter may be
Michael? They have met before, and Ben is a pretty persuasive guy. I mean he was sent back home after he did Bens previous bidding. Ben may have hired him on
for some extra work . Also, Harold Perrineaus name keeps coming up in the opening credits, and he hasnt been seen in quite some time.

Ditto on the Michael. But if it's Michael not even Walt shows up to his funeral. So either Walt is dead at the time or still on the island, I'd
guess.

Id guess Walt being the contact over Michael.
Why? For one, Walt can project himself...and on an island where all long distant communication methods have been jammed...Walts powers are invaluable for such communication. And two, weve seen Walt project to Locke to help Locke get back on track to helping the Island. Ben and Locke are more alike than not, when it comes down to it, Ben and Locke have similar goals in terms of the Island's protection...along with Jacob. So, if Walt has the gumption to try and help Locke in this regard, its not a stretch to see a motive for him to help Ben in regards to the Freighties. Which means Walt's motives for helping Ben GREATLY outweight any motive Michael may have. |

Here's a good reason to think the contact is Michael and not Walt. Michael is listed in the credits again. Malcolm is not. That's not to say "Walt" doesn't show up of course... but Harold coming back is a sure thing. And that ain't a spoiler. No freakin' idea who is in the coffin. It could change as the storyline progresses to fit the storyline so.. I give up on guessing that one. |

The producers of the show already said that the last of the new episodes(4 more to go) ends with a cliffhanger involving Michael. |

Maybe this'll help you a little. Spoiler folks don't know everything. I don't know who Elsa's boss is. And Jacob.. ehh.. well he looked like

I bet Patchy and Michael are on the freighter but I don't know whom Ben's contact would be. And I guess Walt would be there too by default. |
