Why has the voting booth been moved adjacent to the main forum? |

I don't like that people have to whisper boot messages, it was much better when you could talk trash in peace!

In Borneo and outback, the vooting booths were far away enough from the Tribal Council forum, so people could talk as loudly as they wanted, but in the other
seasons, the booth is closer, so they have to whisper. Doesn't this bother anyone?

umm. no. but i will say that the tribal council voting music drives me nuts. I liked it better in the first two seasons when it wasnt so intense. And also
australia is the only season where their torches were snuffed out on the left side rather than the right side. hmmm?

Actually, Colby said in the Australia commentary that they had to whisper their voting comments as well. I think it's ridiculous. Why can't they move
the voting booth a bit further down? No idea. Yeah, I also don't like that they moved it adjacent to the forum, but that's been going on for about 10
seasons (maybe more I don't remember). It's annoying how everyone can see the voters writing.
I never thought of the voting music as "intense", but the TC voting "songs" are Thailand and China. I know the music has something to do with the location, though, so I don't care about the music as much. |

Could this be the secret behind the dropping ratings?!

They want the mood to be intense and secretive. It's about creating a certain type of atmosphere. Loud talking kind of kills that.

I say they just say outloud who they want to vote for right in front of everyone WHILE pointing at the person and laughing.

Well, some people certainly don't seem to be whispering this season. Like, Jonathan didn't exactly whisper his two votes so far.

I don't know why Probst points that out every season and gets exited like a little fanboy - lol. I preferred when they actually could say what they really
felt, not like: *whispers* sorry! *whispers*

Dude, don't joke about that. My brother quit watching during Season 8 because he didn't like the snuffer. You're sure it had nothing to do with the overall shittytude of that season? Staying on topic, I always wondered just how akward it is when you just voted and you have to go back to your seat. Just how much do you try to avoid eye contact witht the person you wrote their name down? Must be especially akward if they're sitting next to you. |

I always wondered what happens if they wrote the wrong name down. They would have to cross it out? And how many sheets are there for them? What if they write
it on the paper and the ink bled thru to the next sheet and the next person would see who you voted for?
