So far, Bernard and I are 53 days, 22 hours, 12 minutes and 15 seconds smoke free. 1618 cigarettes not smoked (each) $376.65 (each) and 12 days, 8 hours of your life saved. Your quit date: 1/2/2008 10:57:00 AM Heck, that's $750 bucks saved in less than 2 months. That'll buy one heckuva lot of Schlitz!

Being an ex-smoker is like being an alcoholic. There is no cure. You are always one cigarette away from being a smoker, and you spend your life doing it one day at a time.

I went...about 6 years without, and then like Trho said, that one cig turned me into a smoker again for a couple years. You never stop wanting one occasionally. Hell, I could really go for one right now. Thanks a lot you $%^%^ers.
