I am a lucky one, I am a social smoker, only when I drink and gamble and that is not much. I can go weeks without a smoke and I do not crave one unless I am drinking or gambling.

Started smoking Dunhills. Came back to the states, at 4th period lit up a Dunhill. Bout got the shit knocked out of me by my redneck "friends" and forever became the "FagSmoker." The name followed me around for a year and a half. Switched to Marlboro reds...later to Lights.

The thought of never,ever being able to eat chocolate in my whole life is unbearable and I only have one life. I'd rather die than have to live my life without the things that make life bearable. Life sucks the big one sometimes and I want my crutches and I don't care if it will make my life end 2years earlier.

I had the exact same attitude for years and years, before it crept up on me and won out again. My new quit date is March 7th, 2008, while on vacation. Don't ask why, but I never smoke on vacation, socially or otherwise... This time I'm going to try and cut out the social part too and hope that it sticks.
