Source: BravoTV.com Anyone planning to watch this? I loved the OC version, but somehow I don't see this being as funny. I never watched Martha's Apprentice, but I'm really put off by the fact that one of the ho-wives (Bethenny) was a contestant on that show and is now basically on this show to further her culinary career. I want to see delusional over-the-hill skanks who think everyone in America wants to be them, not opportunist career bitches. I'm sure I'll give this a shot when nothing else is on though. I have a feeling we're going to hear HAMPTONS and MANHATTAN as often as we heard the words Kodo or whatever it was. The dresses (23 bought?) bought for opening night at the Opera were gorgeous except that last one with spagetti straps, really low on tiny boobs. The two gowns were amazing. I don't know how I feel about this couple yet. Mixed emotions. First thought is hate her, but she seems ok when they're together as a couple. I did like the daughters. I love that the one is so embarassed of her mom. You guys are NYC special, but your kids are like every other one in America. Are these gals allegedly friends like our other housewives or will each have their own set of friends to extend to us? I couldn't make out how they knew each other.

It looked too "skanky street walker" to me. Especially after they added the horrible gold ho' bag. I liked the top but not paired with that skirt or that "purse". Are these gals allegedly friends like our other housewives or will each have their own set of friends to extend to us? I couldn't make out how they knew each other. The commercial for next week, Madam Countess will hang out with JAP, at least to go golfing. The commercial seems to imply that JAP is not invited to one of the Blondie's parties. Unless that's BS and the editors are creating a pretend fight to get people to watch. So far, I think I could like skinny-Blondie.. when she's not perched on her high horse. The other person I like is Rosa the housemaid.

These women are so annoying, especially the ugly blonde in the thong. If she turns sideways she's flat, frontways she's got an ugly funny shape, not attractive. The audacity to wear a thong on national tv thinking she looked good. The only likable person on this show is the 12 year old voice of reason.

I guess it's nice that her & her hub spend every second of their lives together. it would drive me bonkers, but if they're that happy together, what the hell. and I like the countess - she cracks me up. and I liked her kids. but yes, the maid is the best. I'm glad she made it on to the hamptons. I'm thinking I like the redhead with the 14 yr old daughter. the others I don't know enough yet - except the blonde that embarrassed her kids - blech. and bethany is totally useless. slamming the hamptons and then is the first one there for a hand-out. ugh.

I can't really see how these women navigate New York high society. They must be on the lower rungs. New York high society is too old and too entrenched to allow entrance to these nouveau riche. The only one I can barely imagine cracking it is the Countess, but then again I can't see the ladies who lunch making nice with a wash up Mactress. The only thing these bitches have going for them is that they put the Coto bitches to shame with how much money they have and spend. I don't think the East Coast crew will be as fun as the West Coast crew just because the Coto bunch seems more middle America and middle class with upper class allusions while the New York bitches seem like genuine top 1%. Anyway, I'll give it another go.

I did a spit take when they showed Ann Coulter and Ron Perlman in St. Barts wearing thongs. Good for young Francois thumbing his nose at the man and refusing to speak French. Why French? He's Australian and she's from Kansas. I can see why they get along, they both have misshapen heads.

Kansas-french I think. it's like a job to her. who to socialize with, which charity to donate to, events to attend. I just wondered why someone would purposely choose to be like that. that's her biggest aspriation in life - that and speaking french. and how does picking up your hotel managing hubby off the internet fit into that scenario? and just where does there money come from? sounds like they both have good jobs, but is it enough to support the lifestyle they aspire to?

It's been proven that if you want that to happen it needs to happen before the age of 10 so that you don't speak the language with an accent. Yes, that pair seemed a bit over the top and too social climber, but they understand that the only way to make more money in NYC is to make friends with people that make more money. People, regardless of the business, tend to like to do business with people they know. I'm not entirely sure how everyone is able to afford their lavish lifestyles, but that's NYC. There is more money there than God. Everyday another multi-million dollar skyscraper residence goes up in that city and I amazed when all the apartment have been gobbled up.

They're just so pretentious and of course chose French. I mean, Francois and Johann for the kids names. Ew. I grew up in Southern California and went to private school. I thought it was ridiculous for the girls at my school to take French instead of Spanish. The ones who took French were generally pretty snooty and looked down on anyone who spoke Spanish, even though it's obviously a more useful language to know in America.
