Did you know Mary Kay Adams is a descendant of Presidents John Adams & John Quincy Adams? HBO should have given her a role in their recent "John Adams" miniseries.

Aww I loved India too. Vanessa's also been a fave. One of the 1st plots I ever watched was the battle over baby Peter. Vanessa's been on as a recurring
player for a year or so now. She mostly has scenes with Dinah, Bill & Billy. Matt's been on sporadically too but they're split.
It's been nice seeing Jenna back as a ghost lately. She was also great. I still wish they had done the original plan for the post-Marian story. Back when Hart & Dinah were gaslighting Roger they had the idea of having him being committed in the same hospital as Brent who still thought he was Marian. Would have been epic seeing those two share scenes. I'm glad we're at the very least getting a rejuvenated Philip story. He was always a fave. I wonder who they'll be able to get back. Even for just some brief scenes/cameos I wnat them to bring back as many as possible. |

I used to love Vanessa, and I was pissed when they killed off Maureen back in the day. I haven't seen this in sooooo long, but now I may start watching
again just because it's ending.

reva had her baby today. and edmund was telling a secret about his daughter (who i was unaware of) but since i have not been watching i have no clue how
important it is.....figures it took it getting cancelled to get me interested again.

I loved Guiding Light. The Philip-Beth-Rick-Mindy quadrangle was the best. When Philip and Beth ran away and Santa Nick looked out for them. I tear up now.
Beth's father was one of the creepiest characters ever. Even now when I see that actor in something, I don't like him. There were so many great
characters: Sonny/Solita; Annie (I'll watch Cynthia Watros in anything now); Harley; India; Beth; Reva - the original bad girl, married to all of the Lewis
men. The show has suffered so much - a lot of casting losses because of money, they kept moving the show in my market (Pittsburgh) - who wants to watch a soap
@ 10:00 am? Then that crazy idea of live sets. Hopefully, they'll wrap up nice and give everyone a happy ending.
I didn't know Philip was back. I thought he was dead - glad to know he isn't. I hope he and Beth are together... I think if this show had the opportunity to be rebroadcast on Soapnet - it wouldn't have been cancelled. |

I know that it would be one of the defining moments of the Holly/Roger relationship for like the next 20 years.... That rape scene was pretty tame compared to the ones these days. The "Christine" that they were talking about would later be Blake, right? Who was that playing Ed? |

I'm pretty sure that's Peter Simon playing Ed. I'm so happy they brought him back now that the show's ending. It's really hit me yesterday and today with Phillips diagnosis that it's going to end. *sad* |
