Rex is like the US's Janelle. Overrated and really liked because of the adversity both faced in their respective seasons.
He'll place 3rd like she did. in real life, she's just a money grabbing ho and he's just a conceited ass. If both didn't have their respective Nerd Herd/Whisper Club, neither would have been that popular.

He's pretty loved from what I've seen. I like the newbies, they seem fresh and not as annoying as the original cast. |

This is why I'm not really enjoying this series very much. I really hope the newbies stay for a while but the whisper club is totally gonna ban together and put all 3 up. |

I think what it's really all about is the class divide, it's HUGE overthere in London.
Rex has money and is upper class and the other housemates are... not. So they're already self conscious/jealous around him, but he's not helping the situation by being an asshole. It was really evident in Susie's entrance in BB7 all you heard about was how posh she was and how much she thought she was better than everyone. To me though she seemed genuinely nice to everyone though, it's jut the class divide there is so prominent. Although she was a twat with her "i want to be on tv" deal... |
