Nikki's crap was contrived at the end but not really before that. There's absolutely no reaction time for her to make this stuff up. And even if she were thinking about what to say before going into the diary room (which practically everyone on the show has done), she still obviously felt strongly about her opinions. Now, when we get to BB8, you'll notice that not only do Charley and Chanelle copy Nikki's tantrums, but there's also a delayed response before they start doing their act. It's like they're a bit self conscious about it and trying to remember just how to copy her.

ADC, I also don't get how you can say the BB7 cast was moronic in a comedy sense when the people in the previous two seasons were a lot dumber (hence why they fought each other all the time as the people with the lowest IQs on this show such as Alexandra, Jade and Emma are more prone to end up in each other's hair). Nobody on BB7 was really talking about how stupid they were or asking what a particular word means (except maybe Imogen, and that was mostly because Welsh was her first language). BB5 had fucking Marco, Nadia and Emma throwing mud, shit and cake at each other. That season was about as lowbrow as it gets until Mr. Belo showed up on the scene. It also had people that thought they were intelligent like zero to crazy in one second Victor and Stuart "I know shit about nothing but I can pass my A-Levels"...what made BB7 so great for me was that the drama was more nuanced and everyone was smart enough to bitch about each other behind their backs in the diary room rather than blow entire storylines out of the water by arguing. Once you have a massive row (not a misunderstanding like Darnell & Sara), it's basically over with a person in there. Take Imogen & Aisleyne for example, we got to witness them slowly gravitate towards one another. Now, if they had the emotional IQ of fucking Emma, they'd have been at each other's throats on Day 16 and not talking to each other which in turn makes the season more boring. That's pretty much what we had this year where the Whisper Club barely associated with B-Block and just sat in a group bitching about them all day. In BB7, everyone was floating around the house and interacting with one another.

Rachel's definitely an anomaly. I guess Kathreya as well but I'm still convinced her and many others don't give a shit about the IQ tests and purposefully try to fail them. Looking smart can only hurt you on this show and time and again someone would say in the house that Kathreya was a very intelligent woman. Still the most transparent game I've ever seen. Asking the meaning of words in the common vernacular is about as low as it gets in the charade category.

For the most part, they're all pretty stupid and so is Davina. I guarantee Davina does not have an IQ over 100 and I've never really been gushing about her in these threads for the last two years. It would've been awesome if Russell Brand were the host. He'd have absolutely never left since the pay would be too great and he actually had keen insight into the players, tons of witticisms that were actually funny, and he was rather objective in his scatter-brained way. Dermot too even though he rallied so damn hard for Glyn in BB7, knocking down Pete & Aisleyne whenever he got the chance. But god, Davina has never made me laugh and her interviews this season were so absolutely crummy. I wish she would leave but she's an icon to the average, no-brained viewer. The Bexes of the world that yell at contestants they hated in the streets and try to provoke them. The ones who later get on the show and say it's boring because their summer lives revolved around watching television at home, including BB.....
