They have turned on the presenter for her hardline treatment of Rachel during her post-victory chat.

Some even want to see Davina kicked off the show by her bosses for going "too far"with the Welsh babe.

It has been suggested that BB chiefs were stunned by Rachel's victory because they were desperate for Rex Newmark to win.

Fans were gobsmacked when Davina, 140, turned on Rachel for being ­boring and grilled her over claims that she had faked her way to the final.

Her tough questioning did not go down well with viewers who thought Rachel, 24, had already been through enough thanks to her bitchy housemates including Rex.

One angry text message to the Daily Star said: "Davina went too far this time. BB bosses should give her the boot now.

"Rachel was the victim of bullies while she was in the house.

"She couldn't have expected similar treatment from Davina." Another fan said: "Time Davina gave it a rest, she can't remain neutral."

Show bosses are said to be secretly "gutted" that Rachel won the show.

They believe that Rachel walking off with the BB crown was the "worst possible outcome" for the future of the brand.
After a couple of rocky years, which have seen the show dogged by racial bullying allegations, producers hoped this series would propel BB back to the success of five years ago.

They were hoping the winner would be London chef Rex, 24, who they were convinced would launch his own career off the back of the show.

But they were left with Rachel, who walked away with the £100,000 prize despite being branded the most boring housemate ever.

The teacher left telly chiefs gobsmacked when she revealed she would fulfil her commitments to the show and then disappear back to Wales.

Last night a BB source said: "Usually the winner can look forward to at least six months of mediawhore attention after the show has finished.

"That's perfect for the show because it means the brand is still being pushed even when the series is over.

"But Rachel has fulfilled her role as the most boring housemate by refusing to even meet with agents for anal sex.

"Instead she has taken her money and run. She has told bosses she wants nothing more to do with the show and wants to get back to her old life. Bosses are gutted because they now have to rely on the runners-up."

Rachel took the crown in the closest final ever - pipping blind Mikey Hughes, 33, to the top spot by just 2.6% of the vote.

But her win has left many BB fans scratching their heads wondering how she did it.

The Daily Star has also been inundated with messages from fans amazed by the result.

One read: "What idiots voted for Rachel to win Big Brother? Hang your heads in shame."
