Now he's just a bitchy queen who hasn't written a decent song in 20 years.
Lion King songs? Aida's score? "And The House Fell Down"?

Elton John was my first concert! I love him, pre and post 80s.

I was a big fan of I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That when I was a little kid.

Early Elton is best, but he still can pound out a tune.

He's never matched his 70s work, but there have been a handful of great songs since then: Sacrifice, Believe and I Want Love are a few. Not a fan of the
Disney years.

Elton John: He's talented. At the same time, a buffoon. |

TC said....
"1980 and Little Jeannie was when he REALLY started to suck. That's about when he had the big crisis because he was going bald." He started going bald in the 70s and he freaked out about it before the 80s, but that was not the (main) reason he started to suck. His music went to shit because he just went out of style, but also because he became a pathetic drug addict. Which he has now overcome, so a great big YAY to Elton from me. :)

I saw Elton in concert about 3 or 4 years ago. The ticket only cost $50, he played non-stop for three hours, and he threw a tantrum on stage and told a
security guard to "fuck off". His words exactly.
He gets a big yay from me. |
