I would think it'd be very difficult to pull that off. She's pretty, make no mistake, but she does seem older.
LOL @ your friend's take on her, seaguy. I dunno what it is with her: if she's a fake, or if she's sheltered beyond belief. Either way, something kind of off kilter about her. |

Never seen a rated R movie? Come on. Everything about her seems disingenuous, even more than the pageant kid. She's Mormon. They are weird that way. I know Mormon men who don't see R-rated movies. It's no worse than the stereotypical AI contestant's upbringing in some gospel church, hollering and praising their imaginary sky god, then going out and getting knocked up at age 15. |

I liked her, then I was indifferent to her, now I officially hate her. Idol is trying to shove her down our throats and I don't know why I didn't see
it in the beginning. She can't carry a tune for a whole song. She desperately thinks she is Kim Carnes/Carly Simon/Joni Mitchell and she is living in the
year 1971 in her mind. Why is America buying this second rate fodder?
I watched the show again and saw that she snubbed David Hernandez. That does it for me. The other contestants treated him normally but she's too good for him? Sorry Brooke, you're not the angel you pretend to be with that kind of coldness. Fake, self centered, homophobic, self righteous cow.

I'd say that she's been living in her own sheltered world.I'd give anything to be in that world with her. But I believe that it's totally genuine., it's really not all that far-fetched that she stays away from all that kind of stuff. |

Again, I don't get why another contestant has to be heartbroke or give a shit that another person is leaving. That is the object of the game. To last
longer than the rest of the fuckers. There are just leaving Idol, not going to the electric chair or the gallows.
I don't think Brooke is the golden child. I think she was just a "filler" in the 24 - who has done an amazing job and surprised them all. The chosen were Aussie man, David A, and Carly. |

My bad.I understand what you are saying, but Brooke also was chastised a couple weeks ago when one of the chickies left - that she was not "upset" enough. I would be upset if it was someone I was close to ... but I doubt the mormon and the stripper have a lot in common. Sooo why fake it? It isn't like she won't see him again. He will be back for the finale' - and he will probably be around between now and then. He was leaving - just like sooner or later - just like the rest of them will be - except the winner. The premise of the show. |

I get it when people cry or get upset when someone they were particularly close with or were roommates with goes home but I don't expect everyone to cry a river every time someone gets eliminated. I actually think it's really fake and annoying when the same fucking person is crying their eyes out every fucking week (I'm looking at you Ramiele). It'd be worse to see her shed fake %$%$$ for someone she wasn't close to then for her not to cry at all. Personally I'm waiting to see a contestant who will celebrate like nuts every week when someone else goes home and they don't. If you're in it to win it than you obviously want everyone else to go home. |
