But I never liked her nor her personality, and I am not one of those who can relate to her. 2. After giving her props and admittign that she is actually playing a smart game this season, I still don't have any love for her - because she is up against my favorite this season - Penner. But I guess after he gets the leg chopped off and airlifted off that island its all not going to matter anymore.... SUCKS!

Ami's not going to be so stupid and easy to manipulate as Ozzy... and if Ozmanda and Amie can convince Erick then it' Chet then Cirie (smarter yet to go Cirie then Chet). Come merge when there are fewer Malakal's than Arai, Cirie (if left) will/should be picked off right away. I really hope they are just playing up the injury and Jonathon doesn't have to leave the island... he's one of the only competitors competant in both the challenges AND in the social/political game this season. Ozzy's so bad, he should be wearing a leash. Cirie =

I don't think the medics were ever told to bullshit to Johnathan in order to make a more dramatic preview for an upcoming episode. Could it get worse - probably? But some people are stronger than others and have a better shot at fighting off an infection than others. Hopefully Johnathan is one of them

The previews had the medic saying it could be fatal, so it's more about common sense now. Survivor isn't worth dying. I'm hoping this is just a huge misdirection from CBS since they never tell us flat out like who will be leaving, but I doubt it. ETA: There's a Penner love and hate thread, ditto for Cirire, so let's keep this Penner vs. Cirie bullshit out of this one. For instance, I believe the medic says something like "An infection that goes into your bloodstream is potentially fatal." in the preview, but in actuality she could well be saying "Luckily it's not anything really serious and it seems to be contained. Just try to take it easy and keep it covered because an infection that goes into your bloodstream is potentially fatal.". Mind you, this could simply be nothing more than me hoping strongly that he ends up alright.

Not to mention, being dehydrated and not getting enough food isn't going to make his body more able to fight off an infection. I just hope the antibiotics don't make him sick.
