They're having one in Phillie soon, it was advertised right before the show tonight, my friend is going despite the fact she is 18...yes I know she's
retarded (so maybe that means she has a chance)

They have all the open casting auditions listed on Big Brother site on CBS.

Not many people go to the open calls. I mean, if you stand out, I think you'd have a pretty good shot of at least getting another interview.

I just read the Raleigh audition had like 30 people, which is pathetic, but very good for those 30.

Hey CBS casting peeps, I know you're reading this.
Please do Fans Vs. Favorties and make Hellataz one of the fans and Nick one of the favorites. You know you want to. |

I'm such a tool for going, but I did anyway. Make fun of me, tell me I'm a loser, sure fine, I deserve it.
I went to the NYC one. It was long, and it was packed - I got there at 11:30 and took one look at that line and went to the bar for a bloody mary. I brought a book with me - started and finished it before I even got into the second line to wait to see the camera guy. It was held in an acting class type center, so as you can imagine, it was 90% their actors that were there. Awesome. When they had one of their own clients come in, they'd bump them ahead of you in line. Also awesome. Anyway, I came back after a few drinks thinking what the hell, its on til 8, and nobody had gone upstairs yet. Bad move me. I was over #100 in line -- AND there were tons of people still coming after me. They told us to wait downstairs, but christ, that was a bloody mess of disgusting people and white castle burgers. Alex from this season was there, and actually bought everybody waiting boxes of White Castle. Pretty decent of him to do, but nasty aftermath. Masses of people + lobby the size of a shoebox = fuckin gross. So I went and hid in a corner in the hallway upstairs and read. I kept quiet so they wouldn't kick me downstairs, and it worked. Hours later, I got into the room where they called you to form a NEW line of moving chairs - about 8 deep of 5 in a row. There was a separate room of a camera guy and a dark haired woman who seemed to be asking the questions while he filmed, from what I gathered from people talking. Sounded like she actually was asking pertinent questions about each person - and it was actually a while with each person. It was like a day of deciding if I should cut my losses and go, or stick it out and see what happens. The woman in the room (I'm assuming a casting person? Not sure) left right before I got in - I was only 15 ppl from getting in, the camera guy was tired (and I can't blame him). It was late - I'm surprised both of them stayed as late as they did. And by late I mean 10pm. The camera guy was clearly losing patience, he kept coming out and basically saying "if you can't answer the questions 'why would you be good on big brother' and 'what would you bring to the game' then I don't know why you're bothering." Poor dude. People around me were fucking annoying. There was incessant talk of Buffy the Vampire Slayer behind me, and I wanted to bash my head in with a folding chair. I was so burned out from sitting around for hours (literally HOURS) that by the time I got in, I said what I said and just wanted to grab a train home. I'm sure I sucked ass hard, and not in a good way. It was a long ass day, and there were still people after me. Anyways, figured some people might be curious about it. Maybe some of you went and spent your Sunday like that too. I think I am certifiably retarded for staying. |
