i mean, i totally get what fox did here tonight.

the fox execs saw this shitcom and decided to test their doubts by putting the first two eps up, back-to-back, on friday night. (so as not to threaten their charge to be the number one network.)

past that, its just simple math.

take the viewership numbers from the first ep (the wanton, the curious, and those like me who will just watch anything parker posey does to catch a glimpse of that big butt of hers) and then subtract the viewership numbers from ep two to predict the "trend". (yeah, i know a trend takes at least three data points, fox execs ignore that.)

i predict a big decline. just. sofa. logic. i am everyman. i know tv. that's just what i do.

this show is toast (like one of the unfortunate jokes tonight, "you smell toast?" even the actors knew...)
