While I am happy Brooke won, I didn't like the way Matt led Christa on. Telling her he would write "Matt loves Christa" on the water tank and giving her a tour of his home was unnecessarily cruel, considering he knew she wasn't be the one.

Have to agree the "Matt loves Christa" was good for the episode but it was just not right to do that to someone. Congrats to Brooke. Will be interesting to see if they are still together. I heard this was taped about a year ago.

I was so scared that the cuntress Christa would win. I searched the myspace today and Matt had pictures with Amanda/Ash/Christa up by a bridal shop, so I figured she won. I hated the haggard trio of Amanda/Ash/Christa and I'm so glad Lisa/Brookie won out.

Even though I knew Brooke would be the winner, it seems like she only won because she looked good on paper. Their dates seemed awkward and their dialogue stilted. Even though I couldn't understand the attraction to Christa, it seemed like he was more into her and they had real conversations.

I really believe Christa didn't want to win. She didn't know what she'd do living on a farm.

He's not really going to marry Brooke , is he? I saw this as a show where the the person that fit in the best with the town or made the biggest transformation would be declared "the winner."

* I want to personally thank the predictable reality tv editors for taking out any and all suspense in who the winner would be by focusig the whole show by the half hour mark on Christa is confidant and Brooke thinks it's over confessionals. Anyone who watches reality shows knows that an 'I won' confessional means doom and someone w/ doubt and only doubt in confessionals will win. Fuckers.

* I really didn't think Christa wanted him..but rather just wanted the win but her reaction told me otherise. I don't think that lifestyle was right for her and there would have been problems adjusting but I think she genuinely wanted to try it b/c she genuinely liked him. Agreeance on him leading her on and that being unneccesarily cruel.

* If Matt had feelings for Brooke that exceeded the other girls he surely didn't express that at ALL during the entire season. Their dates were awkward and they clearly didn't connect on the same level that Christa and he did. In the end..he just said that there was something special w/ Brooke but me thinks he just chose her b/c he saw that she was better fit for the farm life..
he liked Christa more IMO.

* Ditto on wanting to know if they are still together...the flyer for the town fair weeks ago showed that this was taped LAST summer.

I missed so much of this show, just forgetting it came on - till I read here the next day. I am glad I was there for the end though. and I'm super glad I was there in the beginning when Josie was still around.

I was hoping for some kind of reunion or follow up wedding epi.

and it was pretty damn stupid of christa to be running around town looking for rubbers.

My fraud detector overloaded on this show a long, long, time ago. Which made it much easier to enjoy his bogus house, the dead animals, out of season deer head, condoms, etc. Admirable that they could keep an entire town on script.

Brookes inevitable victory - not so much fun. Butt yes, Matt is 100% gay.

Matt from CW's Farmer Wants a Wife's Blurbs

About me:
Hey folks. Just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has supported and enjoyed the show Farmer Wants a Wife along the way. I am so grateful for all of the positive responses, prayers, and blessings. I'm doing my best to answer everyone's questions so please bear with me. I never heard of the show at any time before I was approached by a casting director.... (Alicia Good) and asked to audition. After my initial shock at the idea and especially the title, I began to pray about it. I spent close to two months praying for God to show me his will in this matter. The most memorable was on my knees in a Sheridan after meeting with the head of CBS. I have never felt more strongly that God wanted me to do something that I really didn't want to do myself. As I prayed, I knew that I had to be strong enough to embrace whatever God was leading me to do. I never saw what he had in mind but I knew that I wanted to be the guy who didn't question God's direction for me and just believed in his timing. Soon after, I was chose to be the farmer. As you may have seen, we had some pretty wild times on the farm. You know, if you have seen all 8 episodes, then you have seen a total of 8 hours out of one month of filming. In other words, there's quite a bit that goes unseen. There is no way that I could have chosen a better group of girls to be on the show. From Miss Stephanie to Miss Brooke, they were amazing.......yes, even Josie....in a weird sort of way. Remember; don't be so quick to judge based upon the 8 hours you have seen from one emotional summer in July. Relationships were formed, feelings were hurt, hearts were broken at times, and love was found. I have never meet girls who worked so hard at anything and everything they were presented with in my life. My hats off to all of you. You gals were absolutely awesome! Now, about me. It's flooding here now but we are "old pros" in this department. It's really just part of life here between the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. I am so grateful for all of your warm thoughts and prayers. I have come to realize that not much matters except for family and loved ones so as long as they are doing well, no flood can get me down. On a lighter and much more exciting note, I am in a relationship. The girl I'm seeing is mature, smart, beautiful, outgoing, self-confident, and just plain sexy. What can I say; she just does it for me. I'm having a little trouble seeing her because she lives in a different state right now so here's where I need your help. I need yall to send a COMMENT (not a message as I'm sure she is swamped with those) to my number one friend and tell her to get her LA wanna be, country accent havin', boot wearin', Atlanta TEXAS behind back to MissourAH so we can get this thing started! Miss you Miss B! It was you from the hayride on...... P.S. God works in mysterious ways and sometimes he takes two people who would have never crossed paths and allows them to hit head on for his glory.
