Yeah, he should have thrown a vote at Ozzy, but as he said, if he didn't trust that Ami or Erik would go through with that plan, he could also have put a target on Tracy's back, had THEY voted for Ozzy, and Ami had NOT. Like, OZZY could have had the hidden immunity idol, in addition to the factors he discusses in his interview. And seeing how he was all but DRAGGED by Joel and verbally abused, and living in hellacious conditions, you never know what's going through someone's mind. :)

Whatever. There have been people hom have quit in other seasons. To call him a worthless disgrace on the show..fine, but it seems much more personal than that from some of you. CHET is not your bitch. He is a a HUMAN BEING. Let's just try to remember that. I DO believe him when he stated that he didn't know if Ami would really swing. In a "foxhole" situation, a gay soldier is more likely to bail out, or run, or just plain not support his fellow soldiers. Chet gave us a perfect example of that on Survivor. Selfish, cowardly, low pain tolerance, no sense of self-sacrifice. Semper Fi? Don't think so, bro!

So Chet decided that he didn't want to quit and just be voted out instead. And he said that he couldn't wait three more days to seek medical attention for his foot. He wanted to be voted out and he said he was honored that people actually wanted him to stay.

We saw Chet clear as day say that he had to think about whether he'd actually help Tracy, his supposed ally and friend that saved his ass for weeks, and that's hate worthy enough. He couldn't wait 3 more days for medical attention? Great..vote w/ Tracy/Erik/Ami and help them out instead of being a MEMEME douchebag and then quit. You don't want to quit? Too fucking bad.. He's reinforced so many of the negative stereotypes we gays have fought for years to overcome, and he seems right at home with the self-loathing, stereotypic queens from "The Boys in the Band." Forget Todd, Richard Hatch, JP, Brad, Rafe, and even Brandon - here's a milquetoast pansy that's lazy, self-pitying, and completely unable to integrate with anybody but the misfits. Every time he had a chance to show he was something more than the stereotype, he failed. And then he whined. Sorry, Princie... I normally agree with you whole-heartedly. The best thing would have been to have voted out Cirie or Ozzy, waited until they completed their walk of shame and then told Probst he was done. That would have been classic and would have given Chet a memorable exit and a bit of redemption. Asking people to vote you out IS quitting. It boils down to the same thing. I would argue that Chet didn't even have the balls to quit, he just asked everyone to vote him out so he wouldn't have to. But he quit either way. The whole tribal council was a waste of time.
