We are not getting the whole Chet story. I do not believe he was going to be removed from the game. Yes, when he did leave he got some treatment, but did it require him to leave the game? It just doesn't fit together. Did he have medical attention that we didn't see, probably. I saw one interview that Jonathan said that he had received stitches out there before the knee injury, we didn't see that. (This is where Ozzy's comments about Jona at TC come into play) If truth be told, I believe Chet asked to be voted out and quit the game. Iif he had help vote out Ozzy or Ciere and then quit immediately, that would be just plain wrong and he would have become the most reviled player in the history of the game. He will never have respect from the survivor community he claims to be a member and such a fan of. He is a puling piece of puke.

Even Ozzy fans have said what an awsome move that would have been. He would have been looked at as a real gamer. Something all of us respect around here. Even if he quit the next day at least he would have done something. Instead he is looked at as someone who threw away the chance of a lifetime. Selfish and weak willed. Whose claims of loving this game are looked as as joke. He will be looked upon with the same hatred as Osten the quitter.

Even MORE, Osten laid down his torch and took his lumps from Jiffy and the survivor community, the chet-stain quit but PRETENDED to be voted off. Worst contestant ever.

He was getting medical attention, but they weren't pulling him from the game. He knew that he was going to be the "chosen one" to go to Exile Island after every lost reward challenge and he didn't want any more of it. He was barely hanging in there when at camp and couldn't take Exile at all. If he was getting pulled why did he ask Ciere to do fish hook surgery. If he was getting pulled why did he have to think about voting for Ozzy, according to him he was getting pulled at the end of TC regardless. He says in his day after interview, which has very dubious editing, that he came back from Exile and he asked to participate at the last challenge then he could get voted out. If that's the case if he was getting pulled from the game, again what is the conversation above about the fish hook surgery. We know it's not editing because their discussing who they were going to vote out. While I do not doubt he received medical attention after getting voted out there's still some evidence to make you wonder WTF! First on one of the video interviews, I forget which, Chet is explain his injury and Jonathan is sitting there shaking his head no. Also, in a written interview Jonathan does "kinda" backs Chet's story by saying something to effect that yes Chet was in the same hospital as I but I never saw him there but I know he was there. Now for his bullshit about disappearing from the game. Who has ever disappeared from the game. He wanted to be voted out like every other Survivor, bullshit. Asking to be voted out is not an honor, just like JFP, he quit, he's also a wuss. Everybody would have had a lot more respect for Chet if they had pulled him for medical reasons, everybody would say, wow he was weak but he held out until they had to pull him from the game. Would have been the Survivor version of the Bronze Star. I call Bollocks! He quit plan and simple, never had any business being cast. In summation, damn I didn't meant to write so much, if he had voted out any of the other players and quit immediately after it would be a cowards play and wouldn't deserve any respect.

Fans of Reality TV: Considering the big deal they made about Jonathan leaving, why couldn't they do that with Chet? And why couldn't he just stay through Tribal Council and vote Ozzy out, and then be taken out? Tracy: We did that. I mean, we begged! I literally was begging. Erik and myself were begging and begging. We begged for hours; for two days we begged him. It's a three-day episode, and we were working it as hard as we could. It was hard because I really care about him as a person, and for him to be that sick, it was sort of self-righteous for me to…you know, I wouldn't want to win and have something happen to him. I mean, look at the infection and how quickly it spread in Jonathan's leg. We knew that, and the second after Jonathan was medevaced, it started to work on Chet. He was really afraid, because he feeling bad. He didn't put his heel down for thirteen days; he walked on the ball of his foot. I don't know why they didn't show that more, there's just not enough time in editing to get it all in there. But it was bad, it really was. It wasn't just a boo-boo. RNO: When you saw Chet on TV, what did you think of his injury? Jonathan: The TV presentation of what happened - Chet was not well portrayed and he's here to argue with that. I didn't think he was portrayed well. They certainly didn't show us the medical team talking to him about his injury. Other people saw him as a layabout who was complaining about a booboo. The idea that he had this infection was not portrayed to us.
