^ You know what else I noticed? Boomie's in DreamGirls.
The 2nd episode on Thursday was hysterical. Loved the whole commando twist and the overal humor and tone was much improved from the 1st episode. Lots of cute lines... loved the one about the blind monk til he got lacek. Brooke Burns - Is she too skinny to anyone else? Her face looks almost skeletal and either she lost lots of weight or she got work done. |

The second and third episodes were an improvement on the pilot. I really like the deadpan charm of the characters. Great actors who can really pull it off.

Yes they could develop into a really strong cast and nice compliment to JG. Definite Samantha Who? vibes in terms of the casting. Still chuckling at her
attempt at being seen as a hot teacher.

The show is okay, I'll keep watching online for now. However, I don't like Brook Burke. I don't know if it is the character or just her. I know
that JG has to have an antagonist, but it the rich girl ex-cheerleader from, *surprise* the same class as JG is too cliche for me. I hope that she doesn't
remain a permanent character.

Ok, with tonight's two episodes-particularily the Pool Party one I am now really into this show. But knowing ABC they will Miss Treat it and cancel it
like Knights of Prosperity and Carpoolers.
Nice inside joke with Edie McClurg's character being named "Mrs. Pool." |

I have now seen all 5 episodes and I totally love this show. I still hate the whimsical music that constantly plays in the background but the show is funny
and it's delivered everytime. Actually..the sneak peek was the worst ep, it's really picked up since then.
Oh and I still Brooke Burns is way too skinny. Did you see her legs? She must have lost 20 lbs. and she was already thin. Still hot though w/ the dark hair/bluie eyes combo. Are they trying to burn off all the episodes b/c Ugly Betty is getting new eps in April (YEY!) and Thursdays at 8 is it's timeslot. Anyone know what's going to happen here? |

I thought the first episode last night was great...loved the girls arguing over who should be molly ringwald.
The second episode wasnt that good IMO, the whole "yell at somebody mean and then they die" plot line has been done a thousand times before and better (eg The Golden Girls), was kinda disappointed they would do something so unoriginal. |

I DIED laughing when, in the reverse-eulogy, VP Terry let it slip he had sex with the old bag. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard! The first 10 minutes of the 1st episode was painful to watch; glad I stuck with it! It's a great little show! |

Yeah, the first episode was definitely the better of the two, but I thought that Samantha Who? was an uneven show too. Its sorta inevitable with comedies.
Except 30 Rock of course.
