Is it possible that there is only one challenge in week 8? There should have been at least one double eviction episode by now. In fact, as for what I can
recall from the challenge board, I believe that for this episode they may have had a new twist where the winning tribe votes out one person and the losing
tribe votes out 2 people. I'm pretty sure that the episode where Gary was medevaced in Fiji was intended to be a double boot episode but it was
restructured so that the winning tribe could choose between immunity and comfort.

I don't think the challenge board went into that much detail. What it seemed to show is that on the day after the week 6 tribal council, there were two
more tribal councils, with no challenges intervening.

From what I can read on the challenge board they had TC 7
& 8 on Day 18 and were going to 'wescam' (the name of the helicopter camera mount) 'The Gauntlet' on Day 19, and 'Money Roll' on
Day 20. The pattern has been to 'wescam' the day after the challenge so 'The Gauntlet' was originally intended to be a single challenge the day
of the double boot.
The challenge board plan ends on Day 20. What the adaptable SEG team actually did in that time:
Day 15 - Ep6 RC Jonathan leaves Day 16 - Challenge day off Day 17 - Ep6 IC Boot Chet Day 18 - Ep7 RC Day 19 - Kathy leaves Day 20 - Ep7 IC Boot Tracy

why would they need a double boot episode - the've already had two de facto double boot episodes

CBRetriever wrote: Even though there were 2 de facto boot episodes, they still had to plan out the challenges as if there were going to be doube tribal councils. That is why I'm speculating that Episode 8 may only have one challenge. |

This is the last unaccounted for challenge on the white board. On S10 it was a post merge IC (with the first 'Exile Island'). Although it could
easily be an
individual RC I'm not sure how they could make it a pre merge tribal challenge.
It could also be the challenge that was dropped when the pre merge double boot became unnecessary, but I already did the research soooo . . . http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor10/show/ep10/index5.shtml S10 Palau - Ep10:IC 'LAST GASP'As Koror assembled for the Immunity Challenge, Jeff Probst explained that the Survivors would be tested in the water during a rising tide. A steel cage would be set up in the water at low tide, with the castaways huddled inside under a steel tier. With the rising tide, the Survivors must fight for air, and the last player to stay under the cage would win Immunity. Raising the stakes, Jeff Probst added that the first one out would have to endure a night alone on an unknown beach.

They could make it like that Thailand challenge where the last person holding their breath won it for that team. I think it was circa F10 or so.
