1987 Alone by Heart
Of course, the start falls 10 meters short of the litmus test for this song, the Carrie version. But this season has no Carrie, just a bunch of bots. She's painfully pitchy from the start all the way through the verse, and surprisingly falls below the pitch most of the way through the chorus. The chorus seems too slow, as well, and she's screeching it to the point where her voice is cracking. At one point, all I heard was the backing vocal. At least she can hold one note in key.
But the last line more than cancels out anything good she did.

Audience: BOOO!

Paula: I'm really glad that America has heard you sing, how big your voice is. People don't know, you barely have a voice right now. You picked the song 'healthy' but you're brave to do what you did. You're really sick, I know that. I hope you stay.
Simon: Uh .. I didn't think it was as bad as Randy said.
Audience: IEE!
Simon: First part was okay. The middle, a bit shrieky and shouty. After what you sang last week which I thought was appalling, no question you're going to get through this week. No question about it.
