I liked Season 6. Sure, there were trainwrecks aplenty, but I felt that the talent was, collectively, among the best in the show's history. No one pissed
me off that much in 2007, and that for me is the sign of a decent season. 2008? Technically, they're solid. Personality-wise, they're lame. Star
quality-wise, they're seriously lacking in that department. I think that the only reason that they're calling this the BEST SEASON EVER is because the
number of boring, soulless, overrated white people in contention is higher than ever.

I understand that individuals in other seasons are better than the people this year, but I don't see how anyone can argue that this group as a WHOLE is the
worst ever.
Yeah, season 3 had the holy diva trifecta, but it also had Leah, Camille, Jasmalien, John Stevens, JPL, and the worst, ugliest, hairiest, most random finalist of all time, Matt Rogers. The show was just still relatively new and exciting back then. |

I definitely disagree. This talent has the most star quality! Brooke, Jason, Michael, Carly, David Cook - they all know what kind of artists they are,
they're good-looking, and any of them could win.
Season 2 - Ugliest. The worst. Rickey Smith? *gag* Charles Grigsby? *gag* Season 3 - Another ugly season. All the performances were karaoke. Season 6 - 2nd worst. First time in 6 years I actually missed episodes and didn't care. |

Matt was also gone early therefore not so painful. John Stevens was the original Sanjaya. JPL also got gloriously booted fairly early and he was endearing and actually had a likable personality. I personally love season 3. Maybe because I actually like Fantasia... but she did not even compare to LaToya, J-Hud, Diana, and Amy Adams for me. Throw in
George Huff for the first 4 weeks of the finals when he was actually good and that's one talented group. <3

WHOOTZERZ, more lame season rankings!!11!1
1. Season 4 - Carrie, Bo, Carol Smith. The best F3 ever, and of course there was FaFu and bitchy Mikalah. Constantstank still holds as one of the best boots ever. <3 2. Season 5 - Elliott and Daughtry fucking own. Kat Pee had her moments, this was the year that had both great personalities AND talent rolled into one. 3. Season 1 - Meh. Aside from Kelly and Tamyra, everyone blew. But these two make up for it. They carried the season from start to finish. 4. Season 3 - Mantasia Burrito sucks ass, but <3 Boomie <3 graced our screens. Collectively the Top 12 sucks ass but minus Boomie and LaToya, everyone left when they should have, and there was the best.trainwreck.contestant.ever., Jasmalien, the original Aloha Kitty! =O 5. Season 6 - Like Season 1, Melinda and Jordin carried this season. Everyone else sucks donkey ass. And there's, ZOMG, Sanjaya. <3. Nosferatu and nasally Richardson <3 6. Season 2 - Most people love Season 2, but I found the contestants were extremely unlikable, with the exception of K. Lo. What kind of fantard gets behind fucking Carmen, Julia, Josh or Charles? Kim Caldwell sucked too. |

It aint over yet, but at this rate i'd put it above Season 2 and (depending on the winner) above Season 6. It still has time to pick up. |

YES this season is bland as hell. I don't care about any of these people having music careers. The only person who had the potential to develop into an
interesting pop star would have been Alexandrea but she didn't even make Top 12. Well, Danny Noriega as well but it's obvious there was no way he was
making even Top 8 with the way America is.

This season needs a Sanjaya or Antonella. Without any scandals or larger-than-life personalities, there's not a whole lot to talk about in between
performance weeks.
Everyone left in the competition is too competent (and too boring).

Well they let the most interesting ones go. You know, because people want a clean cut, white bread show. Amanda, David H. and Danny. Josiah. We had the biker nurse rocker, the gay stripper, the flamboyant gay, the crying songwriter boy. Those 4 were talked about endlessly but now that they are gone, I guess there is a void? Still, they are available on tape and will be long remembered. |

Not the least talented but the most dull. I don't care about any of their music careers. I'd rather have less "talented" people who were
"bigger personalities" and fun. After all, 95% of these losers are going nowhere so at least be entertaining while you're on. It's still
reality TV.
I have to believe there will be rating melt down. I feel sorry for TMZ trying to breathe some buzz into this crew. |

Season 6 was my least season ever, all of white female contestants, but 5 whites were eliminated before top 12. Sanjaya and Fat Bitch were of the worst
performers in that season. Fat Bitch did her haircut after top 12 week. Sanjaya's hair was mess every week until his elimination on top 7 week. On May 2,
2007, two contestants on top 6, Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson were both eliminated. Phil was first and Chris R was second, none of the top 6 were eliminated
in previous week due to Idol Gives Back special.
On top 11 week on that season, there was no bottom three. Only the two finalists from top 11 were placed in bottom two: Chris Richardson and Stephanie Edwards. Stephanie was eliminated on that week.

A sentimental favorite season of mine, and I think people have grown to appreciate it more as time goes by. It was such a fabulous blend of standout performances and standout trainwrecks. I actually still remember the contestants from season 3, but have to think really, really hard who the hell the the top 12 of season 6 consisted of. Season 3 also had some of the most awesome audience members. Amy's hot bf, Great Big Eyepatch Woman in the wheelchair, and of course Whatevia. <3 Season 3 <3 |

I've been trying to hear all the talent that Simon so bragged about for this season and it's not there in my book. I don't know that I've been
this bored since I started watching. Usually I have a fav or two by as early as the Top 24. This year thay are down to 10 and I don't have any favs. As
per Kristy Kock: Nobody's blown my socks off yet. I'm finding myself loading the dishwasher, unloading the dryer or doing other mundane chores while
AI is on.

I think this is the second most talented season. You bitchez just complain every season.
Season 5 is still the best IMO besides Taylor winning. |

How the fuck could last season be not considered the worst? |

I'd have to agree that other than David Cook, no one is a vocal standout. Kristy is the only one left who is truly awful. The rest are consistently
ok-to-great. I can't say I would buy an album from any of the contestants, but I'm probably sour after Taylor Hick's dreadful debut.
Last year we had just one amazing performer, a couple okay performers, and a shitload of fucking terrible performers. Come on yo, Blake made the final two on beatboxing, that's indicative. |

I actually like more of the contestants this season than I did last season, but I'm enjoying the season less. If that makes any sense.
In terms of talent, this season is very good. As an entertainment spectacle, it leaves a lot to be desired. |
