Theresa Sokyrka (Canadian Idol 2) Eva Avila (Canadian Idol 4) Carly Rae Jepsen (Canadian Idol 5) Elliott Yamin Melinda Doolittle Kurt Nilsen Boris Titulaer (Idols Netherlands 2) Natalie Gauci (Australian Idol 5) Damien Leith (Australian Idol 4) Shannon Noll (Australian Idol 1) Nancy Silverman (Canadian Idol 4) Keith MacPherson (Canadian Idol 4) I could make so many great dream Top 12s but for the time being I think that one would be fucking amazing. Given the performance they gave on Idol every week imo would be perfection. Plus I think it encompasses my taste in music so I'd enjoy but there's still lots of variety to be had with this Top 12 because I think they're versatile.

Have you heard anything from the Country CD he just released? There's a really nice duet he does of "Lost Highway" with Willie Nelson, you can hear it on his Myspace www.myspace.com/kurtnilsenofficial Love "Push Push" too. Kurt is amazing imo. Eva Avila (her youtubes are amazing) She's amazing. She came out of nowhere in the semis and just killed the competition from then on every week. She's got a phenomenal voice and she really knows how to perform and put on a show. My mom and I went to see her in concert last year and she was so great. Best Canadian Idol winner by far.

Would NEVER have thought of Kurt with Willie Nelson, for crying out loud! But it's beautiful, of course. I have the whole Push, Push album (love it!), A Part of Me, and "I" and also Hallelujah Live, in which he teams up with some other world idol contestants. There are 16 songs on there! Remove this ad Eva's "How Come You Don't Call Me" is one of the single best "Idol" performances ever, IMO. <3 Most of the big voices are often deemed 'boring' and what not, but she's the perfect combination of great stage presence and killer vocals.

I know his debut CD I was released internationally after he won World Idol. I've seen it in stores around here.

I'm sure I could do some searching and find it though.... I'm thrilled to hear he continues to make music! So many of these Idols from other countries really don't seem to enjoy lasting success, which is a shame because many of them are very talented and should be marketed outside their limited area.

They do get to enjoy decent and lasting success in their own countries and release multiple albums and stuff. I feel like the CI and AI contestants have it bad and it's really hit or miss. Most just fade into obscurity.
