Apparently, and I'm not 100% sure of this but Cher's people were approached by the show about doing a cameo in this ep (she would have obviously been the singer at the end), and her agent said no. After this came out and Cher got word/saw it she flipped. Said she would have done it in a heartbeat. Love Mulder's high five-ing the kid. Another favourite scene of mine is I think from the alien baseball player ep. Scully had a "Tofruity Ice Dream" and Mulder playfully tried to grab it from her. She struggled and there was just the most adorable smile/laughs from both of them. It was such a cute, sweet moment.

But I am so happy to see everyone talking about it. Loved Jose Chung's From Outer Space, probably my favorite episode so far. Season three was the best season so far.

(As well as his two on-camera roles were the memorable flukeman and Small Potatoes loser Eddie van Blundt.) Darin Morgan also started the trend of the occassional quirky funny episodes. Other funny episodes: The Brady Bunch house, the genie (who was supposed to be played by Janeane Garofalo, which would have made it even more perfect), the COPS crossover/parody, Home had to be the most disturbing episode by far. I initially couldn't believe they could get away with it. Doug Huchison as Tooms was probably the most memorable villain ever and he was only in two epsiodes. Loved Pruitt Taylor Vince in Unruhe and Paul McCrane (Rocket Romano) in Leonard Betts. But I have to say those first two seasons had some of the best standalone eps, before the mythology took over the show completely.

Him, Duane Barry and Luther Lee Boggs were probably the most memorable non-recurring villains. :P

Beyond the Sea was such a great episode. Okay, I have to admit the standard of the comedy episodes dropped a lot after the first few and the Brady Bunch and X-Cops weren't all that great. but I still found the genie one charming.

I'd hope with a name like that that the movie would have aliens involved, but I shouldn't get my hopes up based on the rumors of the type of storyline (MOTW) I've heard so far. Milagro on that DVD over One Breath? (best episode in the entire series). Don't get that choice at all. Other than that, thats a great choice of eps for the DVD.
