If Cook does Gethsemane I will pee myself and put it on YouTube. I will, however, bet a kidney that Pork Chop will sing something from Joseph.

singer-songwriter stuff is her forte. Brooke does NOT have a voice for Broadway. Of course, neither does anyone else but Archuleta but range, power and
emotion can make up for the lack of vocal purity needed for the Andrew Lloyd Webber tunes.

If Syesha attempts anything from Phantom, she's toast. |

times as KKKristy was, she is probably toast no matter what song she chooses. |

I know BWay is never a popular theme on this show, but I personally cannot wait. /homo/ |

Huh? "EVITA" isn't a "Diva musical"? "SUNSET BOULEVARD" isn't a "Diva musical"? I must be confused about what a "Diva musical" is... |

Good thing it won't be Tim Rice week. Then we'd be subjected to David Archuleta's rendition of One Night in Bangkok.

They've only done it once, though, right? And with a very limited scope of very old-fashioned musicals, right? You can't rule out a theme just because it failed once. Big Band theme sucked in Season 3, but in Season 1, it was possibly the best theme ever. I think Broadway COULD work with the right group of contestants and a little more freedom of choice. |

Was it only once? Probably so... I know it was season 4 at least. And I remember people hating it. I am looking forward to this one.

I can totally see Screamesh giving that song her very special eardrum busting treatment. |

I will freely admit I am only familiar with Cats. That's fuzzy at best. I like the Mestophles song.
I just listened to Superstar, part of Gesthamane and the 1st 20 seconds of King Herod's song from Jesus Christ Superstar. Everything I've heard that someone said was from Phantom doesn't appeal to me AT ALL. I don't think I want to hear any more. I will probably be digging my eardrums out with a spoon during next week's show. |
