Because he is trying to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to send a member of TC to the jury house without being pissed off at him. I think it is going to work really well or bite him in the ass. But at least he is playing the game for himself and not for that TC bullshit. Ahhhh. okay. Now i see. Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	It is stupid if it's an act because in theory the odds are that James won't win POV (5/6 or 83.3%) and he'll have to put James up or backstab one of his own. I think Adam definately got some sense knocked into him. Remember his whole plan intially of not nominating James was to backdoor him. However, he did it pretty senseless because after they made a final 2 deal, Adam tells him he needs to win POV or he's going. Which is pointless because if he wasn't going to nominate him he should have made some attempt at making him feel secure.

All he has to do is wait and see who wins veto and align himself with that side. By playing it the way he did, he set this up perfectly, and still has both sides liking him and potentially voting for him for the win. Either he planned it, or by dumb luck he fell into it, and let's hope he follows through with it. It's not a guaranteed F2 or win, but it's probably his best shot. AND we get entertained in the process.

James doesn't have a 5/6 chance at winning the POV. He is a better competitor than the other 5, he's won the past 3, and he's got a stronger mental stamina than anyone else there. Adam's plan was to keep James, because he knew that his "TC" alliance would have to turn on each other soon. Adam was covering his ass on both sides. He's got a deal with James, and if James goes this week he's still the hero, only now he's got James trust for sure, instead of after the fact. It's the deal Natalie should have made last week, if she didn't have her head so far up her ass, and was playing this game strategically and not falling ass backwards into luck.

If he wins POV and then HOH, Adam won't be target number 1. If he doesn't win POV, it doesn't matter if he wants to come after Adam because he'll be gone. His plan was just cover his own ass, plain and simple.

I said in THEORY, meaning that if there are 6 people playing the veto, and he has only a 1 of 6 shot to win it. If we are talking people who have a legit shot at it, it's probaly more of a 1/3 shot that he wins it.
