But how did not working something with Sharon help him? If the noms stay, Ryan and Nat control who goes, and have the three of them competing in HOH against James. Seems he should have worked the deal with James and also brought Sharon in on it.

But Adam is my second favorite and if he makes this move to keep James he may make me enthusiastic about him winning this game. James is just a means to an end at this point. Thats pretty much exactly how I feel. Since I hate everyone, whatever causes the most mass pandamonium is the best case scenario. And if I end up liking Adam a lot after this week, great, I've got someone to root for.
