No Ryan doesn't "deserve" final 2 anymore than Sheila:
If this game is simply about winning challenges when a lot are physical then just call it Big Bro's minus Ho's.
Expecting women to beat men in upper body strength even lower body stamina you've got favortism to begin with.
Sheila has not performed simple mental either but its not simply competitions period but a whole lot of manipulation in the head up your butt.
Connection to right alliance, having the ear and prowess to persuade the all powerful HoH or Veto holder gains points.
Weak players make it to the end because they served as pawns or a vote.
Weak players make the end because the strongest players had to use a weak player (they put them there) to keep their seat in the house.
And therefore strong using weak, weak using strong =equally deserving.
Attaching to the wrong alliance = jury.
They didn't end in jury because of loosing competitions apparently so there ya go - know that bro, dude. Ryan more deserving ? F' that shit

I agree to that somewhat in that whoever makes it to the final two deserves to be there because regardless of how they got there, they got there. My point is that I do think there is a lot of merit (from a spectator's perspective) to intentional game as opposed to unintentional game. I just dont give Sheila that much credit in terms of her maneuvering in the game. I think there was SOME intentional strategy (mostly involving floating, which is definitely a strategy) on her part to get to where she is but I guess I just think most of the reason she's there is a combination of luck and because she was less threatening to the other players due to her inability to win competitions. I guess I just give more "deserving" points to the people who took risks, won comps, chose the right alliances, managed to make it through week after week despite being fairly big threats and actually played the game both mentally and physically.

I think given the cards they were dealt, Ryan has played a much better game than Sheila. Sheila caused drama from day one (complaining about Adam and how hard it is to be his partner), lied about being a lesbian for no reason and rarely ever kept her emotions in check when something upset her (not really a personal flaw but in terms of the game, its not exactly the best strategy. See: Chelsia, Josh). Technically you could give her CREDIT for all of that because none of it ever came around to bite her. So yeah that's sort of a victory but it's still sloppy game-play. I suspect she was forgiven time and again for those things because no one ever really worried about her winning a crucial HoH or Veto and actually posing a threat to them. If she were throwing comps I'd give her credit for that but she wasn't.

I think it all comes down to attitude. If she were in the diary room bragging about (or at the very least, admitting to) manipulating Adam's (and others') emotions to further herself in the game, I'd be more inclined to root for her because at least we'd know that how she's behaving is purely strategy. The problem is, I think she really thinks she should win because she needs the money more and to me, that doesn't make her more deserving.
