Ben's wit and dry sense of humour are usually a hit with the ladies, but he's single and doesn't expect to find love in the house. He does admit to having a huge crush on BB host Jackie O, though. "I want to meet her and potentially start a relationship with her," he says.

She's travelled the world and hopes she can raise awareness of those less fortunate than us through BB. "I would like to have enough money to complete an aid mission overseas and enough exposure to get people involved," she says. But Bianca isn't all about charity work - her family describes her as the 3 B's: Bitch, Boobs and Brains!

Self-confessed drama queen and party girl Brigitte loves shopping, dressing up and having fun. She says she would "NOT be caught dead on national TV with no make-up on".

David was raised in the religious sect the Exclusive Brethren and says that getting out at the age of 19 was painful. Prior to his "escape", he'd never even kissed anyone, but David has now been in a happy relationship for six months. He is a gym junkie who is obsessed with celebrity gossip!

After growing up on the outskirts of an Aboriginal mission, Dixie turned her attention to helping those around her, but she hopes BB will dramatically change her own life. Dixie says she's boy crazy, but her commitment issues have always prevented her from having a proper boyfriend.

Having moved here from Japan at the age of four, Nobbi (short for Nobuyuki) says his arrival was traumatic because he was thrown into school four days later and had a hard time learning the language. Nobbi is the only contestant to claim that he hasn't watched the show.

She's proud of her body and dreams of being a world-class model, but Rebecca has done crazier things than entering the BB house to grab her 15 minutes of fame, such as working as a scantily clad barmaid. If modelling doesn't work out, she'd like to be a nutritionist because overweight people frustrate her!

Renee - a self-confessed rough-and-ready tomboy - experienced heartache when, at the age of 19, she was told she may not be able to have children due to health issues. Luckily, she managed to overcome the complications and says it's all clear now.

Rory takes care of his body - we hear he's even paraded in his undies for a modelling competition - but his hair is his true pride and joy as he has been growing it for five years and considers a big part of his personality. He is anti-religion and says his favourite "book" is FHM.
