Very much in agreeance, they guys are fantastic. And love the new faux-hawk sporting female guitar player they added. But I guess that definitely means no 'ROCKSTAR: whatever' this summer (too bad). Just saw the first episode yesterday, aired here in Canada. Interesting show, but only really enjoyed Lucy and Crosby. HATED Lil B' and baby brown. And someone inform Chloe she still has a major body dysmorphia going with those lips.

Chloe - I thought it was way better than the judges gave her credit for 3. Crosby - got the highest score, but I can't get past his barenaked ladies voice, definitely most talented musician. 4. Jesse Blaze - one trick pony, the Liberace of rock 5. The Doobie girl - no stage presence My prediction for the boot next week - Doobie Daughter for sure and I'm hoping Jesse finally goes now that the public has to vote. Chloe is in danger, but she needs to stay. Double boots Landon and Lil B deserved to go, but I felt bad for them.

It gave me chills. I doubt Jesse will go since he has the fangirl vote, so it's a tossup between Chloe and Lucy on who will go with Lara I think.

Posts: 5535 (04/26/08 7:37 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	This week the contestants were mentored by the judges Crosby did a Foo Fighters song (don't know the name, wasn't one of their big hits), played electric guitar. Generally rocked the house - Kenny and his Botox seemed proud and were singing along in the audience. Belinda was Crosby's mentor and he totally has her and June creaming their jeans. Both gave him a 10. Lara did Lady Marmalade (Moulin Rouge version). She has a big voice but she overdoes it, gets really low scores. Kind of hindered by the fact that she looks 12 years old and was singing a song about a prostitute. Jesse did Ring of Fire in an Elvis suit and was awful. He only got a 31. His mother will not let him make any wardrobe decisions and this frustrates June, because he is too gimicky. Considering how his dad got famous, I can see that it is hard for him to go against what worked for dad. He continues to be a douche about the other contestants. Lucy did a Secondhand Seranade song and played piano. This was my favorite performance. My only criticism is that her voice and annunciation aren't refined. Sort of sharp. She reminds me of Nina Gordon, so I'm not saying it couldn't work for her - just on certain songs it may work against her. Chloe rocked the house with Freak on a Leash by Korn. I wish she would get off the floor though. The judges hated it and gave her a 21. ONJ called her from China. Larry warned her about being too dark. Supposedly that's also why they never rerun it, so thanks for the recrap, Lovejonze. I missed it this week assuming MTV would rerun it a billion times but apparently I'm never going to see it. Nice to hear that the two suckiest contestants (Landon Brown and Lil B Sure) got the boot though.

I keep voting for Chole because even tho she's offkey, I like her. Did they start doing double elim's cuz this show sucks and noone's watching it? That's what I figured. Haven't watched it yet but it appears that the final three are Crosby, Jesse and Chloe. Everyone did a song, and then the final three did another song. Apparently Chloe has ALOT of fans now. ONJ was there. Chloe did a taped segment about her and her father. She went to visit him in some teepee that he's living in. She complained to him about being criticized and he told her "that's why I live in a tee pee". He's a DILF, even though he's a little oddball. Maybe he has some good ganga in that Tee Pee. Crosby has grown alot in terms of showmanship. Kenny was there again. I can't tell whether or not Jesse wants to be a rock star or a gymnast. The constant flipping was annoying. I wish the final three was Crosby, Lucy and Chloe. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Crosby did Weezer's Beverly Hills Lucy did an Evanescence song on the piano Lara did Fergie Chloe did Toxic by Britney Jesse - I forget what he did. It was loud Lucy and Lara eliminated. Lucy told everyone to vote for Jesse. Over my dead body, toots. Crosby does a song by the Fray at the piano, gets up and goes into the audience. I have alot of trouble hearing him, his voice is more suitable for quieter songs. Chloe does The First Cut is the Deepest, sitting on a throne the whole time. Odd, but not as odd as the man tied to a chair while she sang Toxic. Chloe is getting more attractive to me. I guess I'm getting used to her face. Both parents were there. Jesse does another song that I immediately forgot. All I could remember were the gymnastics. I think Jesse will win, but I'd rather see Crosby or Chloe win.

I haven't seen every episode, but I think she's the only one of the F3 that has never been "untouchable," so she must have some kind of fan base that is used to voting for her. Crosby technically deserves the win, but I don't think most of the audience has the common sense to vote for him.

I like Chloe's deep, dark troubled, unconventional soul. I wouldn't mind seeing her win. It seems Crosby and Jesse Blaze have crossed over into each others' shoes over the course of a few weeks. Jesse started out this competition with a bang by becoming untouchable and being cocky. Slowly, he's toned that stuff down over the weeks. Maybe in an effort to be more likeable??? Crosby, on the other hand, has gotten a bit MORE cocky and is gaining momemtum, having been the last one with that untouchable status. I think Crosby's the most versatile and talented of the three left (I wanted Lucy in the finals!) but I'm happy with whoever takes home the prize...
