If all that is true...exactly how many hours long is this going to be??? Performances on Tuesday...still an hour? Results show...3 hours??? |

I'll be watching the Lost finale and dvrring the AI Results. That way, I can fast forward past all the crap but still have it recorded in case anybody
does something stupid.

Shep Smith had some chick on talking about the show Tuesday night, and confirmed that PorkChop will be gasping to Imagine. She also said that Cookie would be
singing the U2 song "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". Anyone heard confirmation on that? Should be pretty good choice for Cookie,

David Cook is performing U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". Not sure if it's his own pick or the producer's pick… This will be the first U2 song sung on the Idol stage on performance night. Contestant's have tried, but have never been able to get U2 songs cleared. |

U2 songs have been sung on Idol stages, just not the AI one.
This leads me to believe that Cook is indeed TCO if TPTB were willing to do whatever they had to do to finally get a U2 song cleared for use on AI. ISHFWILF was used on Canadian Idol 2 back in like 2004. |

Well, crap. If David Cook sings "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" (as rumored) and pulls it off well, I may have to actually vote
for him. The only song I'd rather hear on AI is "With Or Without You"...I'm a huge U2 fan.
Archuletta singing "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" makes me cringe. I loved when Clay Aiken sang it, and George Michael, and Elton John...but I don't think I can handle it from porkchop.
