^ I'm sure there's another Schwimmer out there, somewhere. And if not, bet ya bottom dollar that either Lacey or Benji will be back to choreograph. It's impossible to have a Schwimmer-less season after Benji defiled our screens for an entire season. |

A season and an TWO episodes.
And "The Moment I Said It" was Mia's only redeeming quality to last year. I was also one of the ones who could not see the value in the flowers-for-dad dance. LISTEN UP, INTERNET STALKERS FOR FOX: Mia Michaels choreo = subjective art (that is not good). |

Okay, I'm throwing out some love for Tyce DiOrio as a choreographer. I like him and he's yummy to look at too..
I thought Brian Friedman did some dances last year? |

I <3 <3 <3 Tyce. And I like his choreography most of the time (Ease on Down the Road was one of my favorites from last season). And I agree with E Moch that Mia's flower dance sucked. She has big-time hits (Dancing, Are You the One) but also has big-time misses. |

The routine wasn't that bad IMO..it was the horrid dancing that took it to suckage levels. The turns I recall were just completely sloppy and when it
ended I thought it was meh but then came the praise, !!t.ears, etc.. and I began to hate it..

I just watched the finale for Australia's SYTYCD and am pumped for the US version to start.
SYTYCD Australia had the best opening number for the finale which highlighted, in order of elimination, the top 20, then the judges and choreographers for the show were incorporated in the dance. It was a great idea, because the judges and choreographers are still all great dancers even Nigel Lithgoe's wife Bonnie (one of the judges) got to do a few ballroom moves and she was no slouch. Would love to see them try that on the American version! But wont happen as Nigel, Mia, and Mary don't look like they could move enough to keep up with a high energy routine. Mia had a taped message and is still involved in SYTYCD. I think I read that she was not coming back for this season in the US. They have to recruit the ballroom choreographer Jason Gilkison for the American version, his routines are truly amazing. Including a ballroom routine for 2 men! |

I was dead shocked when the judges/choreographers showed up in the routine! That was really cool of them, and the fact they didn't do the whole Cat/Nigel
"TUNE IN AFTER THE NEXT EIGHTEEN MILLION BREAKS TO WATCH US DANCE" ripoff hype made it all the more surprising. Very happy with the outcome of Aussie
SYTYCD, though I predicted the winner from the Top 20 week as they were very Benji-esque. Hopefully we'll get to see the routine that Mia choreographs for
them and maybe they'll even perform it on the US show... The Aussie cast is going on tour in July so there's enough time for the winner to show up in
one of the early elimination shows before that commitment takes over.

Forgot that they had that Nigel/Cat dance farce. What a joke really. Seeing Jason and Matt tearing it up with the group was awesome to see. It validated their status as judges to me, they really are top notched dancers who can judge from a place of experience and knowledge. Don't think I want to see Mia or Nigel doing anything with the dancers, really. That idea wont fly with the aged out of shape judges on the US panel. |
