This does seem to kind of fit the topic and is kind of spoilerish, because of possible jury votes. So I think it is best to ask it here. During some of James's interviews he wanted to go to the end with Amanda. He obviously wants Amanda to win. When did Amanda and James get so close? I am just wandering if this was ever hinted at before, or was left out do to editing. The editing made it seem that James was closests to Parvati (until she voted out Ozzy). They never really showed that James considered Amanda his number 1 ally.

Was anything mentioned during the china interviews and I just missed it. I remember all of the speculation before the start of the season, about would James turn on Amanda because she was behind his boot in China.

This question is for both of you: If you had stayed in the game, who would you have taken to final three?

Alexis: I would've taken Natalie and Parv.

James: Definitely Amanda. Either Amanda and Ozzy or Amanda and Parv.

James would have went with Amanda because he said he couldn't backstab. That is what the girls were for. Amanda I think became his #1 ally after Ozzy was booted and Parvati screwed Ozzy.

A slightly better player? Huh. I'm pretty sure interviews are going to back me up here. Parv is not going to the end with a fan. Notice in her confessioanl she mentioned "We getting to the end" That means Her and Amanda. Jason in an interview said that Parv is playing Natalie/Amanda. She has no intentions of taking them to the Finals. Alexis put herself in a position where she's said sure Paravti, I'll allign with you, and I'll agree to a 5 girl Final 5, where 3 of those girls will be Favorites and two of those girls will be fans...And Alexis according to her interviews didn't doubt Paravti! And here she has seen Paravati, backstab James, the guy she was flirting out with, and backstabb Ozzy who was supposedly Paravati's best friend outside of the game? And there was no question about hey, maybe? I need to think about my position here and the fact that Paravati maybe playing. Maybe I should make sure for example that Jason uses his IM idol, and then we can boot out Amanda/Cirie, and then go back to Paravati for all girls. But no Alexis didn't think this at all, she just trusted Paravati.

Amanda has always had a better understanding of who she's alligning with and also her position in said alliances. She also has made moves before in the game like targeting James. Has Alexis ever done anything that pro active? Do you really think that Amanda would make a decision to allign with Joel instead of Mikey B, becasue she wasn't attracted to Joel? Because according to Alexis's blog that's why she choose Joel over Mikey B. Now, I agree Survivor romances are a bad idea. But when you have alliance partners making bad decisions like Joel was making, you don't allign with that person. Amanda in contrast has always made good alliance choices (like Todd) Sorry but I'm not getting how Alexis is somehow this better player, when she hasn't had nearly the results Amanda has had.But my main point is that Alexis agreed to put herself in a position where there would be a Fan minority in the Final 5. And she was just going to trust Parv that Fans vs Favoritse was ultimately loyal.. I don't think Amanda would have ever put herself in that kind of position.

Interesting that Jason said that Parvati is playing both Natalie/Amanda. I haven't read any of his interviews yet. Parvati must plan to go to the final 2 with Cire then, if their isn't a final 3. That must mean there is a good chance that Amanda wins the final immunity challenge and takes Parvati. This is of course that Amanda/Parvati are the final 2.

It is no longer fans vs favs. That was gone pre-merge. Alexis put herself into an alliance of females. Parvati was the swing vote. Who else did Alexis and Nat have that was not a challenge threat post-merge? They could have used one of the boys but how do they boot them if they keep winning challenges? It was the right choice for all 5 women. Amanda didn't know enough to make herself less of a threat once they got down to them and someone had to go. If Amanda takes them than it was less of a risk with her than aligning with one of the guys.

What is Amanda going to claim as the reason she is in the F3 and should win? They all agree she is not responsible for any of the jurors being there. She can barely claim Alexis. She was only booted because James was evacuated. Then what did she do to win the game?

She could claim she was a target and she had to work harder to stay in the game. I am not saying Amanda will win, but she has a good agrument for that in front of the jury. Remember the jury all say that Amanda was clearly a target in the last episode.
