Oooh I might have to watch that then. My older Westie Stewie doesn't like shows with animals so I'll have to watch when he's in bed :)

WHITE SCHNAUZER LOVE!
I can't even begin to count the idiots that come into the pet shop where I work and point to the white schnauzer and go "That's not a schnauzer. That's a westie." Your dogs are beautiful, carboys! Especially the schnauzer (cuz I have a thing for schnauzers). <3 |

The Westie grooming should be interesting though. Half the time they wind up looking like Schnauzers or Scotties.

It's true our Westie comes back from the groomers with a good cut 60% of the time and the other 40% of the time it's less than good. The Schnauzer,
who does have very soft fur, yes (not wirey), always comes back looking great. It confuses me because I would think the Schnauzer would be harder to do.
I am so looking forward to this challenge to see what they come up with. Westies can be very stubborn so they may pose a difficult challenge, and it looks like the ones they use may have some mats to contend with. |

Kathleen all the way - she has what it takes: grace, character, and talent. I know everyone likes Jonathan, and trust me I have some words for that boy too (and they wont be so nice, Mister "talk dirt behind everyone's back" - grrr), but Kathleen, she's got it. I hope she brings this win for the high-end groomers of California - show the East coast what Cali groomers really can do. What's next for you in terms of your grooming career? Just going to start doing more competitions, working towards groom team. I hope to be the first Male dog groomer from the west coast to ever make it on groom team USA. So that's another challenge - one that I have control over. Oh and (I) have some hush hush stuff going on, but keep your eyes open, and your TVs on, because you have not seen the last of Will. |

Did anyone else think those covers of Groomer Magazine were shiteous!!!
I personally felt that Jessica's picture of the golden retriever was the best. All the other dogs looked ridiculous. |

Groomer to Groomer magazine is hillarious! I would freak out if my dog ever came back looking like any of the dogs on the cover. Kathleen's dog really
did have a difficult cut with that drum pattern. I was afraid she was going to go with a clown theme and dye that dog like crazy.
I loved when all the groomers were saying that getting the cover would be a "boost to my business". Um.. no actual dog owners read that magazine. They all wanted the cover because it would make other groomers jealous and inferior. It won't do anything for the business, but will help their egos. |

I could see how being on the cover might attract better groomers to their shops, which in turn could improve their customer base and their profits, but you are absolutely right that the general public has no idea and has never seen Groomers Magazine. At least I had never heard of it. |

I'm finally caught up. I love this awful little show, and I love that lazy-eyed, mommie-dearest raised, repressed homosexual, straight out of Best In Show
judge Xavier the most.
Intruiged by the future serial killer, I googled his name. Look what the magic of lights and airbrushing can do...

Are you telling me that's AFTER the airbrushing?
I find him hideous and needlessly pompous. Whenever I see him on my television screen I just want to reach in and slap him across the face in an effort to put that eye back in place! The Westie quick-sniff challenge was disappointing. But the Westies were sure cute! <<<<<333333 The elimination challenge was even worse. Those dogs were too black that I could barely make out the finished results. They all looked like shit to me. |

Sonya "Dahling" - you freaked poor Artist out. Too bad Ms. Sonya wasn't there the week Kathleen muzzled her dog. I was surprised at how
tenderhearted Artist was when Jasper left. Guess next week Artist or Jorge will be gone. Jorge is snarky but his comments can be funny. I was pulling for
Jasper to win. Wish Artist had more experience, even though Kathleen and Jonathan are both talented, they don't come across as genuine people.

I want Artist to groom my dog. I just love that guy. No one went home this week. Artist should have, but I think it was the way he handled the challenge
that no one went home. good for the judges if so.
