Hard to say at this point. Like someone said above...it changes from week-to-week. At the start of the season I would have said Carly. A few weeks ago I
would have said Brooke. Now I'd probably say Kristy.
But who knows? If you told me at the start of the season that Michael Johns would be gone in 8th place and Carly would have been in the bottom 3 twice already, I wouldn't have believed it. |

She got a very positive edit in her audition and Hollywood, the judges came all over her wretched "Tobacco Road" performance, she had the pimp spot
to help save her from elimination at top 16, and she had the producer puppet Randy tell her she was the dark horse. Then there was all that awful mugging she
did during IGB, where the show had her front and center for all the scenes with Ryan.
I think the only reason the judges have gone after her lately has been her covering what they consider untouchable songs by Whitney and Fantasia. Everything about that Whitney screechfest for Dolly week seemed to be set up as her "moment", from a producer standpoint. At least before the judges shat on it. 
Since Mariah week is right up her alley, I'm preparing myself for the fawning. |

You think so, James? For me, it was the opposite.That's been one of the problems with Syesha all along. What they think is adorable, many viewers find repulsive. That's one of the reasons she got knocked into the bottom two after her best performance ("If I Were Your Woman"), because people were repulsed by her personality and the way the show tried to push her. This is a much more accelerated version of what happened with Kat (who also hit bottom two at top ten after the judges way overpraised her), someone else who got the light shows, the manufactured moments, was much more polarizing than the show expected. But Kat was better than Syesha and had more fans. |

Sadly I think it will be KKKristy as the last female standing. She has found a great way (albeit a snarky one - country and confederate flag waving) of tapping
into her fan base. But I wish and hoping it will be Brooke.

With 10 bottom threes between them once the dust settles, they may not be the best singers this season but at least they'll be able to say they were tested
by adversity. Not like all the wusses in previous finales who'd never been in the bottom...

I kinda liked Screamisha in the beginning... the Hollywood sign thing irritated me, but made me laugh. I was hoping she made it. By 24 .. I was sick of her.

I like Brooke, she is my favorite idol since her auditioned in Philadelphia. During Hollywood auditions, she was good and talented, the judges loved her and
her performance of "Beautiful". During the last day of Hollywood week, she was cried and she thought may go back to her family and might continue to
work as nanny. She is the better singer and she might be win this season.
