Can somone explain the origins of the phrase "pimp spot"? |

Did Simon say in his book that they put their favorites in the last spot, did Nigel say that in an interview or was this a phrase that just developed over time
among fans based upon independent observations?

Whomever has the softest dishpan hands whilst giving Nigel a weekly reacharound for performance order gets the pimp spot. Michael's hands were a little
rough on the ol' raisins from across the pond last week so he lost out, sadly.

The last spot is the person who will stay the most in somebody's mind because they're the freshest so when it's given to somebody like Porkchop,
it's seem as a pimp spot.
